“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
There will be times in our lives where we are not sure what our next move should be. We go through those moments of confusion and we began to worry about the possible outcomes of our decisions. We consult with family and friends on what to do. And we even do some self-consulting. But one source that we should always look to when we don’t know which direction to take is God.
Since God already knows the detailed sequence of events that will occur in our lives, why not look to Him for guidance? He has a thorough understanding as to why you should do certain things because He already knows what the end result will be. Even though we hate to admit it sometimes, we don’t have all the answers. So we look to the Lord for the strength and guidance that we need to make the right decision. At first, we may not have a full understanding as to why God is leading us down a particular path. But in due time, it will be revealed to us.
God will never steer you in the wrong direction. The direction that He gives you will be extremely beneficial. He wants to see all of us succeed in this journey we call life so why would He set us up for failure? So when you are unsure about what your next move should be, call upon the Lord to lead you down the path that He would have you to go. Hold on to His hand and let Him be your guide.
