Lil’ Wayne’s recent comments about respecting women may have people thinking that he cares for us. But looking back on his past relationships and explicit song lyrics, we know it’s all a load of bull and so does Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg.

And the Nicki Minaj and Peter Rosenberg beef continues. Weeks after the feuding between Hot 97 and Nicki Minaj went down, other Young Money artists have continued to speak out about the situation, including the camp’s ringleader Lil’ Wayne. In an interview he did with MTV News, Lil’ Wayne gave his take on why he pulled his Young Money crew out of the Summer Jam line up. And when asked about the disrespect that Nicki Minaj felt from Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg, Lil Wayne said these comments that made many people laugh uncontrollably:
“That’s a female; first and foremost Nicki Minaj is a female. I don’t know what anyone else believes, but I believe females deserve the ultimate respect at all times no matter, when or where or how,” “As soon as she called me and told me she felt disrespected, I just declined everything — I pulled her from the show because … no person that works with me will be disrespected in my presence as long as I’m on this planet.”
So Lil’ Wayne is the spokesperson for women’s rights now? Please.
Respecting women is the last thing this man knows about. Impregnating damn near every woman that he has called his main lady and often accused of having a side chick when in relationships, Lil’ Wayne comes off as nothing close to a gentleman with his derogatory lyrics to top it all off.
Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg of course had a response to Lil’ Wayne’s new found respect for the female gender, saying that people shouldn’t get it twisted, Lil’ Wayne only respects Nicki Minaj, not all women.
Live on the air, he said this:
“Lil Wayne thinks that I don’t show respect for women,” “Wayne is right about something–Women are mothers, are sisters, are daughters. But I have a question. Is me giving my opinion that one song is wack, is that showing a lack of respect for women? … I don’t know if Weezy F. should be giving me lessons on respect for women. Weezy F.–the F doesn’t stand for feminist, alright. … Clearly the logical thing is let’s get the word of respect for women from the woman at the center of it all…clearly Nicki Minaj, she understands respect for women. Instead of talking to everyone else about Hot 97, how about the good people at Young Money just come on down and come see us and talk to us?”
As Peter Rosenberg has been called out for some of his remarks in the Hot 97-Nicki Minaj feud, he definitely hit the nail on the head with one thing. And that is that Lil’ Wayne is the last person to be giving advice on how to treat women.
Sigh. I get Wayne wanted to stand up for his artist, but he shouldn’t talk about women and respect. He’s made millions for not respecting women, especially black women. When a man has 2 women pregnant at the same time, it’s pretty clear that women are nothing but sexual objects and breeders to him. So let’s not make this more than what it is, and that is beef because Nicki got called out for going pop.
Hot 97 and Peter Rosenberg scored with this observation. Lil Wayne is the last person that should be talking about respecting women. LOL! Good try though.
Is he really going to make this a feminist thing? I wish all of them would just drop it. Nicki went Pop and they dragged her for it. But Lil Wayne has not done anything in real life to make me think he respects women.

First off Wayne can take up for his artist just because he makes a song does not mean he disrespect women so what he has gotten every got every women pregnant that he called his main at least he was in a relationship with them obviously he is some kind of gentlemen he has have or is a man to someone what else better do you have to do let these people live there regular life and deal with your own because obviously you are jealous that is the reason you are hating or even worried about it you are just sad to be bothering these people they are regular people and their business are just out if you were famous your business would be out too so stop making it your business to call them out
