Rihanna Performed Drunk And High In Front Of Children

No matter how famous you are, there comes a point in time when the glitz and glamour of Hollywood gets put on the back burner for a moment, especially with the loss of a loved one. This past weekend, Rihanna lost her 80-year-old grandmother Clara Brathwaite, who she lovingly referred to as “Gran Gran Dolly”, to cancer. And as expected, the loss is taking a toll on the singer’s performances. One of her most recent shows was held at the Peace & Love Festival in the Borlange, Sweden. Knowing that she was still grieving her loss didn’t stop fans from slamming her on Twitter, describing her as a drugged up disgrace on stage:

“Rihanna is blatantly under the influence of drugs and is allowed to perform in front of children and young people. It is disgusting and shameful #pal12.”

They may not think Rihanna is a shoo-in for rehab like some people think. But her Swedish fan base clearly isn’t feeling all the weed smoking and drinking.

Another fan took their shot at the Barbadian pop star’s performance, not at all amused that Ri Ri appeared to be ‘high as a kite’:

“Playback and being high as a kite is not rocking P&L #Rihanna #pal12.”

To add to her supposed intoxication, Rihanna further pissed Sweden fans off when she dedicated a song to them for a massive shooting that took place not in Sweden but in Norway last year. And one fan didn’t miss the opportunity to call her out for her blunder:

Borlange isnt’t (sic) Oslo and no people weren’t killed by Breivik here… But thanks for coming #pal12.”

It was also said that fans couldn’t stomach Rihanna enough to stay to the end of the show as many of them reportedly made an early exit.

Grieving the loss of a loved one won’t stop fans from going in on you for a sucky performance. At least it didn’t stop Rihanna’s.

  1. I wonder when it’s going to come out that Rihanna’s on more than liquor and weed. I’m sure they’ll try to clean it up with the typical fake “Rehab” break from music. I like Rihanna but she needs therapy on all the issues she’s had in the last few years. Her Grandmother’s passing is just the icing on the cake.

  2. Rihanna is going through a lot. She lost her Granny and then she never really healed from the whole Chris Brown thing. Whenever a woman likes to party and drink a lot, and sleep around there’s usually some pain she’s trying to cover up. I hope she gets some help soon, but we all know she won’t.
