Discussion: So What Did Yall Think About LHHATL Reunion Part 1?

It’s been a long time since we have had a discussion. Ironically, our very last discussion might have been the one we had about the premiere of Love And Hip Hop Atlanta. It was the first time we heard K. Michelle tell her story about Memphitz, the first time we ever saw a love triangle so extreme as in Mimi, Stevie J., and Joseline; and we immediately began to root for Erica Dixon, and wished Lil Scrappy would eventually stop depending on Momma Dee when it comes to his love life decisions. Since then, we’ve seen the show and cast become even more messy, and we have to admit, maybe we should have expected the Reunion to be just as ratchet as it was.

So what were the most memorable moments to you? For us, it would have to be K. Michelle and Rasheeda’s heated exchange that resulted in Rasheeda being taken backstage, as well as every moment between Stevie J. , Joseline and Mimi. We probably got more laughs from K. Michelle’s one liners and Lil Scrappy’s take on that infamous fight he had with Stevie J. And it looked like for a split second, Joseline was thinking about hitting Erica in her jaw again.

So what did you think about Part 1 of the Love And Hp Hop Atlanta Reunion?

  1. I think the Reunion show was more ratchet than the actual show itself. There were many moments that I had to ask myself if these people had been encouraged to behave this way for the Reunion. Like when did Rasheeda become a thug? That bish is a notorious a– kisser in the A and she never gets into it with anyone. She better pray Kirk’s first wife that she stole him from doesn’t handle her the same way she thought she was going to handle K. lat night. I guess the Security had her feeling real tough. They all were extra last night. Maybe they got a bonus check for that.

  2. They were all tacky last night. Beautiful women but they all seem to lack in class. I will give K. Michelle credit for not trying to get physical with anybody, but Rasheeda made herself look like a damn fool. She’s a grandmother and she gets more tough with K. Michelle than Waka’s Flocka mom and she actually went in on her husband right in front of her. She’s a joke and the biggest disappointment on the damn show.

  3. Ugh! I am pissed that Rasheeda tried it with her Scarecrow looking a–. She looks like Michael Jackson in the Wiz. She walked over to K. Michelle slow as hell too because she knew what time it was. She needs to mind her own damn business and handle hers. She made her husband look like a damn wimp on TV. She may have a husband but she sure doesn’t deserve one!

  4. Did anyone even notice when Karlie Redd told Rasheeda she had her back? LOL chile bye. She better sit down before she gets another set of silverware tossed at her throat.

  5. I think Joseline made the show, again. I died when she told Erica she’ll whoop her a– again. I really do think she got the best of Erica. Look how accurately she punched Stevie J. in the face.

  6. This damn reunion took us back 400 years. Rasheeda calling K. Michelle’s hair nappy, then running across the stage to assault her while her little wimpy husband comes on the stage to hold her back with that soft voice of his, not to mention Stevie J. pimping Mimi and Joseline on camera. This show is the absolute worst I have seen in a long time.

  7. I am another one who is officially done with Rasheeda. I was insulted by the nappy hair remark as well, and I don’t appreciate how she tried to humiliate K. Michelle on tv. If she never believed her, then don’t be all in her face and be fake. That explains why she’s never had a career. I hope she continues to flop.

  8. Mimi made me mad. Here every one was rooting for her because she packed her bags on the last episode, and the truth is she is still messing around with that jerk. She keeps trying to get mad at people for going in on her, but she looks like such a fool in front of millions pf people. Regardless, I’m ready for part 2 so I can see Scrappy propose and Shay run off the stage like an idiot. lol

  9. I laughed hysterically throughout the whole show. The only time I got mad was when Rasheeda tried to walk her little frail a– over to K. Michelle like she was going to do something. It was clear from how slow she walked that she was hoping security would come save her. Other than that, people did and acred how I expected them to. K. Michelle is hilarious.

  10. Long time reader and lurker, first time poster. What I find interesting about this Reunion is this sites like yours Amanda seemed to be privy to various events that happened during the show. It is quite clever marketing by Mona to use your site to promote the Reunion.I believe that the desire to watch the show just to see if you and other blogs were right or wrong was a great way to drive ratings.

  11. Rasheeda is desperate to come back on next season. She is boring and so was her lil storyline. Too bad this won’t work. Meanwhile, K. will get on a major label and easily return next season. Joke’s on you Rash-tty.

  12. Man I think most people only watched it to see K, Michelle beat up Rasheeda and clearly that didn’t happen. But it was at that moment when K. Michelle really proved that she was crazy. Babygirl ain’t flinch or even seem pressed when Rasheeda walked up to her. Rasheeda may need to refrain from doing that ever again though. lol

  13. Eh, think it’s clear that some people don’t need to come back next season. I say give Rasheeda, Kirk, and Karlie Redd the boot. All 3 are boring and depend to other characters too much for camera time. Just my 2 cents. Ps, Rasheeda made herself look really bad last night.

  14. I’m not a violent person, but I wished for a moment I was there sitting on stage, so I could have held my foot out and tripped Rasheeda up when she went for K. Michelle. That way she can also fall on her face physically, like she’s done symbolically in her efforts to be relevant. She’s going to regret showing out like this.

  15. Man I think the biggest things that happened was K. Michelle embarrassing Rasheeda and her needing to redeem herself with her fake “bucking” and just hearing Joseline talk about being a Christian. Everything else was sub-par in my book.

  16. K. Michelle continues to be my favorite. Say what you will about her mouth, her stories and recollection of past events add up and make sense! You could’ve heard a pin drop on that stage when she exposed that Rasheeda was supportive of her until the first few episodes aired and the isht hit the fan. Of all the cast members, she is the most real to me. Although i’d rather not waste my energy on addressing Karlie Redd, I have to mention how hilarious it was to me when K. Michelle called her out about her daughter, followed by Mona asking follow-up questions to which she straight stuttered and stumbled over. I was quite baffled as to when she became Rasheeda’s Yes-Man, but being that she’ll use anybody to breathe life into that dead career of hers, perhaps she is attempting to establish that connection? *shrug* I was quite disappointed that Mimi’s responses to Mona, Stevie J, and Joseline insinuated that she has not left him alone and is “working on it” like Stevie J said when asked if he was “in love” with her. She sounded real foolish as she explained that she never expected to marry him. If exclusive lifetime committment isn’t the goal, why even expect him to be faithful now? That whole arrangement just doesn’t make sense to me.
Other than that, I’d say the reunion was average and ratchet as expected.

  17. A hot mess as expected! Rasheeda is dumb. If she wasn’t there then she has no right to tell K. Michelle she’s a liar about what happen to her. Because I couldn’t imagine someone carrying a lie like this for 3 years! Karlie needs to sit down somewhere. She’s an industry h-e and will get with anyone she believes can get her a deal. Joseline is a mess, but at least she’s real about what her situation is with Steebie! And Mimi need to just stop talking cause she obviously hasn’t had enough of Stevie’s lies and cheating. We’ll believe her when we stop seeing her hugged up and smiley with him. And Stevie & Joseline just need to say no to drugs! I don’t know what they were on, but they was on something! And hopefully Scrappy will stop listening to his mama & settle down with Erica. They are a cute couple and you can tell they really love each other.

  18. My 2 cents, I think Rasheeda is a hypocrite. She calls K. Michelle a fraud, but she’s the biggest fraud on the show. We knew Karlie Redd was messy since the first episode. But Rasheeda tried to come off like she was a real chick and a good person who was trying to really develop a friendship with K. Michelle. Then the filming ends, and she starts going ham on her on Instagram. That is the most pathetic thing to me. I wasn’t a fan before, but she doesn’t have to worry about me being a fan now. She’s the typical user and I can’t stand chicks like her.

  19. For all those who are rooting for KMichelle, it really shows your type of mindset. That woman can not hold a relevant conversation & is childish. She is also overexaggerating the \”fight\” she claims took place. Say what u want about Rasheeda but she has everything K wants. Rasheeda is way grown & down to earth & will get at anyone who tries her. And the only reason why K didnt flinch is because security was there. She ain bout that….at all.

    1. I’m sorry, I almost agreed with you until you said Rasheeda was “way grown.” Any woman approaching 40 years old, married, with a child and step grand kids who refers to herself as a boss b-tch and has been trying to rap for two decades is not “way grown.” And Kirk ain’t nothing to brag about. He has no backbone and has gay tendencies. And just in case you were confused, there’s no “way grown” women on that show. The “way grown” women don’t get call backs from VH1.
