Chad Johnson has had one bad week, and weekend too for that matter. It first started when he got arrested for head butting wife of 41 days Evelyn Lozada in an argument that started over condoms. After news of his arrest got out, Johnson was immediately released from the Miami Dolphins live on camera and lost an endorsement deal as a result of it all. His marriage is on the verge of ending too as Evelyn is filing for a divorce from Chad. Despite Chad Johnson’s playful persona, it was rumored that this was not the first time that he physically abused Evelyn during their relationship and that he abused one of his ex-girlfriends as well.
There are numbers of supporters of both Chad and Evelyn, after receiving tidbits on the situation, who do not wish for them to remain together. However, a source told RadarOnline.com that Chad really wants to work things out with Evelyn and he is begging for her to give him another chance to save their marriage:
“He is desperate to win Evelyn back, so he feels he has at least one person on his team, but she is resolute that is NOT going to happen.”
The source went on to say that even though Chad was pressed to get back with Evelyn, she is not trying to hear him:
“Chad has been tearfully calling and texting Ev, pouring his heart out to her and telling how sorry he is and how he has never loved anyone before as he loves her. But, it’s just too little too late.”
“Evelyn will not tolerate being cheated on and being physically attacked and she has washed her hands of Chad for good. She was desperately in love with him and ignored a lot of warning signs along the way, but now that she has finally woken up, she will not be taking any steps back and will not go back to him.”
“Despite Chad’s pleas for a second chance and his assurances that he will undergo counseling, Ev is sticking to her guns. It is over between her and Chad. For good. Period.”
In related gossip, Chad Johnson is supposedly on the verge of losing his condo in Miami, Florida.

No. 85, who was arrested Saturday night in Davie for allegedly head-butting reality TV star Evelyn Lozada, his wife of just six weeks, has just been notified that a Midtown apartment he co-owns could soon be foreclosed on!
Johnson, according to court papers, hasn’t paid the monthly $863-maintenance fees on his $400,000-16th floor crib at Two Midtown Miami— since June 2009!
He’s behind by $28,703 – and since the Dolphins cut him Sunday night, he could have a hard time making good on the tab.
Things have continued to go from bad to worse for this NFL star.
So yeah…they both need to move on. They want two different things. Chad doesn’t know how to be faithful and Evelyn wants a faithful man. And he head butted her. There’s nothing else to talk about.
Umm Chad..you need to just walk, hell run away from this relationship. It’s not a good look!
I guess I’m one of the only people that expects these two to get back together. For some reason I doubt the divorce will actually happen. Not sure why.
You’re not alone. I feel the same way too. I don’t think the divorce will actually happen. There’s no telling what could happen in the next few days.

I think if this had been like 7 years ago, Evelyn would have taken him back. But now, she doesn’t need to. She most likely has more money than Chad does. She wasn’t with him for money or anything else that she was with Antoine for. So I really believe she’s done with him. He has nothing to offer her that she can’t give herself at this point. And that’s why she’s been grinding so hard. She learned from Antoine not to be depending on these athletes anymore.
I hope this isn’t true because it makes Chad look even dumber. There is nothing to fix here. He can’t be faithful and she’s not trying to work anything out because she doesn’t want to. He needs to just cut his losses, get some counseling and figure out how to get his football career back. Real talk.
This is one couple I’m not rooting for…sorry.
This probably isn’t true, but if so, he’s only trying to get her back to save face. Think about it, if Evelyn takes him back after head butting her, then everyone will think maybe it wasn’t that bad of a situation. He wins if she changes her mind.
