Love And Hip Hop Atlanta’s Ariane is one of those characters that up until this point, still remained a mystery. On the show, we came to know her as Mimi Faust’s best friend and voice of reason, and it really did seem like she had the most common sense when it came to Stevie J. and Mimi’s rather confusing relationship. Since the first season of Love And Hip Hop Atlanta mainly consisted of the triangle that involved Mimi, Stevie J. and Joseline Hernandez; it was easy to overlook Ariane’s character, especially since K. Michelle, and Lil Scrappy and Erica just got more television time. Although Ariane was originally added to the cast to be Mimi’s support system and voice of reason as she attempted to work on her obviously broken relationship with Stevie J., she was also seen on the show developing a friendship with K. Michelle. But what neither K. Michelle, nor Ariane discussed on the show is that the both have romantic and sexual pasts with K. Michelle’s alleged abusive ex boyfriend Memphitz.

Mouths dropped when Memphitz revealed in a recent interview that he used to “date” Ariane. While he also stated he did not abuse K. Michelle, he also said he was surprised that Ariane, whom he had also dated, did not defend him on the show when K. Michelle shared her story.

Well in a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Ariane claims that she and Memphitz did not date. But instead, the two were friends who had a sexual relationship.

When Charlemagne Tha God asked her if Memphitz ever hit her, she stated that he was a good guy and he never put his hands on her. But when she was asked about whether or not she believed K. Michelle’s story of abuse, Ariane said that she was torn because she’s cool with both Memphitz and K. Michelle. And then she suggested that sometimes, “B-tches need to get slapped.” While she was never clear on whether or not those views were pertaining to K. Michelle and Memphitz, many were outraged that Ariane would make such statements after just wrapping up a domestic violence photo shoot she did for a non profit organization.

Despite the backlash, Ariane stood by her comments:

  1. This bish had me fooled. I thought she had some sense, but when you can admit to being Memphitz’s jump off and advocate slapping women, you’re obviously a bird.

  2. SMH. It’s never okay to slap a woman. In fact, men and women just need to keep their hands to themselves. I guess that wisdom she had on the show was just an act. How sad.

  3. No one should be surprised. She hangs with Mimi for crying out loud. Pretty girl but she’s obviously got some issues.

  4. Umm why was Memphitz at a gay club though? LOL, Toya get your man. He’s flaming. No wonder he’s never home with her. Bish be tweeting about how she misses him everyday and he’s being spotted at gay clubs. Great job Toya.

  5. Why did they invite her irrelevant a– on the show? She doesn’t even have her own story line. They must be desperate for interviews.

  6. Wait, was she trying to throw shade to K. Michelle? I guess she’s trying to secure her spot on the next season. Pathetic.

  7. It was something about this woman that did not sit right with me when I watched the show and when I heard about the rumors of her sleeping with Memphitz. This interview confirmed why my spidey senses went off; she is a scandalous heaux that probably would hop on Stevie’s bus if she had the chance.

    K. Michelle, do not trust this bird.
