Basketball Wives LA’s Draya Michele may be a reality television star, but most have come to know her well due to her Twitter rants and her famous ex boyfriends, especially Chris Brown. After exclusively dating Chris Brown for nine months, many wondered how she could embark on such a close friendship with the singer’s current girlfriend Karrueche Tran. And of course, when people began to see how cool the two became, many began to speculate that Draya was having threesomes with the couple, and Karrueche and Chris had nothing more than an open relationship. And there were those other rumors that suggested that Karrueche Tran was not Chris’ real girlfriend, but simply a public decoy for a hidden romantic relationship he still had with Rihanna.
But in a recent interview with the Breakfast Club, Draya finally speaks candidly on what relationship she really has with Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran. And of course, she held nothing back.
Here are the highlights from the interview.
On whether or not she participates in threesomes with Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran:
Okay. To clear everything up, Chris and Karrueche are in a relationship. That’s their relationship. I don’t play any parts in their relationship. There are no threesomes. Her and I are friends, more than him and I are friends. Like we’re cool, but that’s my girl. So like, we’re cool.
On whether or not Karrueche Tran is the jealous type or worried about the flack she gets for dating Chris despite the constant crticisim, Rihanna rumors, and Chris’ friendships with his exes:
“Well if you know Karrueche, and you know how they run their relationship, you could tell she is not an insecure person. Like she don’t let none of that stuff people say break her. She good. She got her man.”
And Draya talks about how the two became friends through Chris Brown:
“Me and him, we always remained friends. He was like ‘you know, I want you to meet my girlfriend. She’s so cool. Like, she’s dope. Meet her.’ I was like, ‘Ok.’ I wasn’t like, ‘I don’t want to meet your girlfriend.’ I was like, ‘Cool.’
…I don’t think I was an ex she needed to be concerned about.”
Interestingly enough, Draya did admit she does have a thing for women. Regardless, she says there’s absolutely nothing going on with Karrueche and Chris, since the two are committed to each other.

For some reason, I do think Karrueche is more secure about her relationship than people want to give her credit for. I guess she would need to be dating Chris when everyone wants him to date Rihanna again.
I love Draya. She keeps it 100 at all times. LOL.
Oh yeah. That’s why she’s my fave. She’s the only person I care about on the show. BBW Miami is better IMO.
I might be in the minority, but I don’t think Chris wants Rihanna back. He described Karrueche as “dope.” And no matter what new rumors pop up about Rihanna, he still hasn’t left this girl. And from the looks of what went down at the VMAs, it seems like Rihanna is pursuing him. She walked over there to him to hug him. I’m sure he left and went right on back to Karrueche. People call Kae the weak woman and fool, but I actually think that title goes to Rihanna.
