Chris Brown and Rihanna may not officially be back together, but that hasn’t stopped the speculation that the two would reignite their romance a few years after the domestic dispute that destroyed their relationship, and chipped away at Chris Brown’s squeaky clean image. Regardless, Chris Brown has kept a steady girlfriend in up and coming model Karrueche Tran and Rihanna has had romances of her own as well since the two called it quits publicly as teenagers. Recently, Rihanna poured out her heart, and revealed her true feelings as of now for Chris Brown to Oprah. No one could say they were surprised when Rihanna told Oprah that she still loves him, but many were a little disappointed to find out that Rihanna and Chris Brown keep in touch frequently through text messages. And recently, it appears that even Chris’ mother Joyce Hawkins talks to Rihanna frequently, since she admitted through a Twitter rant that she speaks to Rihanna daily, despite Chris having a girlfriend.
But now the latest gossip suggest that Chris is trying to cut off communication for a moment to get his life and career together. They say Chris is in the middle of trying to save his career and suffering lots of stress, and Rihanna’s interview with Oprah didn’t help things. We thought that couldn’t be accurate, but a recent reports and tweets are making us think otherwise.
The first piece claims Rihanna has been texting Chris about attending the VMAs this year, after reports leaked that he would not be in attendance. The person says Chris decided not to respond:

Meanwhile, Chris Brown continues to listen to his new management and be pretty much tamed these days on Twitter, and only tweet things about his music and clothing line.
I think both should stop the frequent communication. The public will never accept them getting back together. And as toxic as things ended, it’s obvious both can do better with other people.

OMG Rihanna needs to move the hell on. So what if his heart’s not in with Kookakoo. That’s not her business. We as women need to stop hating on our exes moving on, especially when we need to do the same.
Good for Chris. Rihanna’s career is in a good place, he needs that time to get his back there too. His last album flopped and he’s got to get things back in order before he ends up getting dropped from his label.
Eh, this may not be all the way true. I still think he is doing or saying something to Rihanna to make her feel like they still have a chance. So he’s probably still texting her. But for some reason, he’s still keeping Karrueche around too.
This whole situation is just tired and lame. They need to just leave each other alone.
As much as they try to paint Rihanna as a slut in the press, I’m starting to question if she has ever really dated since Chris. Besides that baseball player dude, she might have been “dating” guys just to make Chris jealous. And he has dating the same chick since Rihanna. I think it’s driving her crazy honestly.
Why is Rihanna still keeping in touch with a man that physically abused her? She needs serious emotional help. She keeps posting this Bible verses to Twitter and Instagram but she is not living by that word at all.
I agree with you O-La. She has not moved on from him. He still has control over her. She may need to just leave the industry alone and find herself.
I don’t know what it is, but I feel like Rihanna’s heart is in it more than Chris’ is. I mean she tweets sub shade all day about him and Kae, and Chris says nothing anymore. He is still hanging with Kae and he’s not acknowledging any of this in the public. To me, that’s a sign that he’s getting over it all. And Rihanna needs to get to that point too. If he hasn’t left Kae yet, he’s probably not going to.
The decision making skills these two have leave plenty to be desired.
Well in a “real relationship” they don’t beat your a- either Rihanna. Damn, she’s so ridiculous when it comes to this situation. Let Karrueche have his angry a- and get someone better. It’s not like she can’t.
I think he’s playing games with Rihanna and Karrueche. What man wouldn’t though? It’s up to her to get it together and move on. I know she loves him, but just because you love someone it doesn’t mean you’re meant to be.

Isn’t Rhianna doing the same thing she got upset about the night she got beat. She really needs to leave him alone. There are to many men out there to be concentrating on Chris Brown. Let him move on and she needs to do the same.
