Bobbi Kristina Brown’s engagement to her god brother Nick Gordon was news that traveled fast as there was still much speculation as to whether or not the two were truly dating each other prior to the news. Their relationship has stirred up much talk amongst people and supposedly does not sit too well with those closest to Bobbi Kristina, many fearing that Nick is not a good influence at all and has other motives for wanting to date her. Bobbi Kristina’s relationship with Nick was not the only thing that had the rumor mill buzzing as she was said to be upset with her family members, namely her grandmother Cissy Houston, for filing to have her inheritance payments withheld from her until she got older. As for Bobbi Kristina’s status with Nick, she dropped some juicy news about where they stood in a promo clip for her family’s new reality TV show. During a clip of the show that Bobbi Kristina, Nick and other members of the Houston family are apart of, it appeared that Bobbi Kristina confirmed that she was engaged to Nick. However, according to a rep for the 19-year-old, Bobbi Kristina is actually not engaged despite what was revealed in the promo clip:
A new promo clip for Lifetime’s reality show, “The Houstons: On Our Own,” is breathing new life into the engagement rumors surrounding Bobbi Kristina Brown and “family friend” Nick Gordon.
Gordon has been described in the press as an “adopted son” of the late Whitney Houston, and is called a “family friend” on Lifetime’s reality show, which chronicles the Houston family as they try to move forward after the legendary singer’s death earlier this year.
Bobbi Kristina, 19, quietly reveals in the minute-long teaser that they’re “engaged” as she looks into Nick’s face.
It’s unclear when the scene in question was filmed, as reports circulated in March that Nick Gordon had proposed to Bobbi Kristina, and she’d accepted.
However, a rep for Bobbi Kristina tells CNN that the two aren’t engaged, but adds, ““You have to watch the show!!!!”

We peeped the clip of Bobbi Kristina saying that she was engaged. But let her rep tell it, she is not on her way down the aisle.
Whatever. I guess they are doing all of this for the show.
I don’t even think I care anymore. LOL.
No one finds this engagement disturbing? I know I do. I would never want to date or marry my sisters, adopted or not.
So it was just a publicity stunt? Maybe Bobbi Kris isn’t that dumb after all.
I don’t know why they need to lie about this. If you’re engaged, you’re engaged. No need to lie about this in the media.
Well that’s good news…
This child really believes she’s a real celeb. From the PR stunts, and thanking her “fans” on Twitter. What a self-entitled brat.. She will end up losing her money to this loser, married or not.
