Rapper Nelly made headlines last week when it was reported that his tour bus was pulled over by police in Sierra Blanca, Texas, and during the stop, cops were said to have discovered massive amounts of weed and heroin aboard. Although Nelly denied even having any knowledge that there were any drugs on the bus, it would be his bodyguard Brian Keith Jones who would be the one to claim responsibility. Jones would be charged for felony drug charges, and Nelly continued to hold steady that he still has no idea how the drugs even got on his tour bus.
A day or so after Jones took responsibility, Nelly proceeded to claim his innocence. But in the process, he claimed that he was furious with Brian Keith Jones for almost getting him caught up. Read from the bottom up:

An associate of Nelly’s tour bus has pleaded not guilty to felony charges, after a large amount of drugs were found on his tour bus.
The rapper’s tour bus was pulled over in Sierra Blanca, Texas on Thursday (October 11).
When police searched the bus, they found ten pounds of marijuana in a duffle bag, 36 baggies of heroin and a .45 pistol.
A man named Brian Keith Jones initially took responsibility for the massive amount of drugs on the bus.
Things could get complicated for Nelly, as Jones appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to felony drug charges.
Jones has since been released on bond.

You’re silly as hell, but you’re right 100%. Nelly really should have kept his mouth shut and stayed off of Twitter until things cooled down. But if his bodyguard is innocent, he is doing the right thing. Don’t take the charge for someone who has no problem throwing you under a bus for it.

SMH. Honestly, Nelly is probably selling drugs to uphold his former lifestyle he had when he was hot. That just seems plausible to me, especially when he used to sell drugs before he became a rapper. When someone says they will take the fall for you, you need to humble yourself and make sure you don’t grand stand.

I don’t know if it was the tweets, or if he just realized that he would have to sacrifice too much for these charges. I just find it hard to believe someone could get that large of an amount of drugs on Nelly’s tour bus and he didn’t know anything about it.
Damn son. Well honestly, if dude had a wife and kids, he should have never claimed to have done something he did not do. My wife and kids would come before Nelly’s broke behind. It’s not like Nelly is on Jay-Z’s level, where he could actually pay you off for life for taking a charge for him.
Nelly should have just released a public statement and moved on. All those tweets weren’t even necessary. Smh.
