Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes clearly aren’t on the best of terms these days. The reality stars of the Bravo smash hit Real Housewives of Atlanta have had a very shaky friendship, which seemed to completely dissolve into obscurity on Season 4. Last season came down to the “Talls” versus the “Smalls.” And most would agree that it was Kim and NeNe that had the most influence over the rest of the cast. Since last season’s issues, NeNe Leakes claims to have move past her drama with Kim and is now focusing on her budding acting career. In fact, she says Kim is just too negative for her to hang around and she even claims she can never be friends with Kim again.
It’s obvious that the feelings are mutual. Kim Zolciak doesn’t seem to have any desire to resurrect a friendship with NeNe either these days, but her reasoning is quite different. Kim claims that when it comes to being around NeNe, she doesn’t even feel safe anymore. In fact, when she attended that event on episode two (the mixer for successful women), Kim didn’t hang around very long, and appeared to be because she didn’t want to run into the star of the event…NeNe.
Unfortunately for Kim, she ran into NeNe anyway as she attempted to leave. Although NeNe surprisingly asked her to stay for a few more minutes, Kim lied about needing to go to the restroom and then bailed.
Kim explains that she left early since she no longer feels comfortable around NeNe, who she labels as “unpredictable.” She writes in her Bravo blog:
I was invited to NeNe’s event the day before, and regardless of it being such short notice and being home packing all day, I attended. I decided to support NeNe regardless of the numerous times she’s verbally and physically attacked me. I’ve said this a million times and I stand by it: NeNe is unpredictable! I honestly didn’t feel comfortable, safe, or happy about going in the first place. I thought it was very odd and out of the blue she would want me at her event. For all I know, I could have blinked at her the wrong way and ended up in the pool. BUT I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. ONCE AGAIN!
After waiting for almost TWO hours, I had to leave because Kroy had a dinner he had to attend, and I needed to take care of baby KJ. On my way out I saw NeNe, and she asked for me to stay 5 more minutes. I told her I couldn’t manage, but she was persistent so I said OK. I looked at my phone, saw the time, and just realized there was no way I would be able to stay any longer. I didn’t feel like I owed NeNe anything, especially since I swallowed my pride and decided to show up anyway. My support and being there should have been enough, but some people are never satisfied. Let’s be honest, NeNe has a motive behind everything she does. Did that look like a genuine person standing there asking me to stay? I think NOT! At the end of the day, I had somewhere else to be — with my family.

Yeah it’s time for her to leave the show. She doesn’t want to deal with most of the cast and she’s a little bit too sensitive these days.
NeNe did look like she wanted to haul off and slap her at the event. LOL.
I hope we won’t see Kim next season…
I think it’s makes sense that this will be Kim’s last season. She’s obviously over being on this show and interacting with the women on the show. She won’t be missed.
Kim is full of it! She ain’t that scared of NeNe. And she had Sweetie with her so she shouldn’t had felt so unsafe. My thought is, if you scared of someone, you don’t go to their event! That’s just dumb not swallowing your pride or whatever she said!
