Rajon Rondo & Kris Humphries Get into a Fight During Game

When it comes to the game of basketball, things can turn ugly within a matter of seconds. And an incident that starts off between two players can shortly result in two benches being cleared with the quickness. Wednesday night’s game between the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets was set to be one where Celtics’ point guard Rajon Rondo could have made history, him having the chance of tying legendary point guard John Stockton’s record of playing in 37 consecutive games with at least 10 assists in each one. For Rondo though, he didn’t reach that historical moment as his time in last night’s game was cut short. During the Celtics-Nets game, Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian’s soon-to-be ex-husband, fouled Celtics’ forward Kevin Garnett, sending Garnett falling to the floor after the foul. During the foul, Kris Humphries did a little something extra, dirty rather, hitting Garnett in the face on his way down. Seconds later, Rajon Rondo went off, going straight for Kris Humphries for hitting KG.

And after that, it was on.

Players from both benches rushed onto the court and jumped into the altercation, much pushing and shoving going on. Even a security guard was said to have gotten knocked down during the scuffle. The fight was nothing at all like the infamous one that went down between the Pacers and the Pistons back in 2004 that Ron Artest was the center of, but some reports suggest punches were thrown. But it did result in Rondo and Humphries both being ejected from the game. As for Kris Humphries, he has been known to throw shade and there was talk of him not being very nice towards Kim Kardashian during their time together. And the “extra move” that he pulled last night on Kevin Garnett may have just made the rumors of him being a douche bag a little more believable. And what he did to KG was just enough to piss off Rajon Rondo and the mass majority of the Celtics squad.

Kris Humphries also took to his Twitter account to upload a photo of the injuries he received during the altercation. In his own snarky way, he also poked fun at the incident.
