Chris Brown Gets Booed By Fans When He Refers to Dublin as a City in the UK

By: Taren Vaughan

Chris Brown continues to make headlines for some rather interesting reasons as of late. And it all started off with him getting caught up in a nasty tweef with a comedic writer that led him to delete his Twitter page, which is now back up again. Despite the heated exchange that he had with Jenny Johnson and his fans jumping in to speak their minds, Chris still harps on the fact that he is striving for personal growth and trying to be a more positive person. As this is his claim, one of Chris’ former fans may beg to differ as Chris snatched her cell phone from her when she was trying to take a picture of him, it being rumored that he didn’t want the picture to get back to Rihanna. And on the subject of pictures, Chris and Rihanna have continued to share plenty as they were recently photographed together. Though not officially speaking on it, Chris Brown and Rihanna appear to be back together and wanting everyone to be aware of it too, much to some fans’ displeasure ironically as there are many of them who support Chrihanna fully.

Regarding his music, Chris is now performing overseas in Ireland. During the performance that he put on there, Chris took a moment to give a shout out to his fans for being so welcoming and supportive for coming out to his show. And the fans were said to be really enjoying Chris’ performance. That is until he allegedly blurted out the fact, or non fact rather, that Dublin was one of his favorite cities in the United Kingdom.

Peep the details on Chris’ alleged geography blunder that ignited the booing from his fans:

Chris Brown clearly skipped attending his geography lessons in high school as he mistakenly identified Dublin as being a part of the UK during his concert on Monday evening.

The ‘Turn Up The Music’ hitmaker performed in the Irish capital yesterday as part of his Carpe Diem tour and he seemed to be impressing fans up until the moment when he allegedly claimed Dublin was his “favourite city in the UK.”

Various concert-goers immediately took to their Twitter account to slam the star for his embarrassing mistake, writing different versions of what he is alleged to have said.

Here are some of the tweets:

Chris Brown has made some geography blunders in the past that have gotten him called out by some of his followers, them not being too nice about that one either.

  1. Did Chris even graduate from high school? Most celebs didn’t. Regardless, I don’t think him not knowing that Dublin is located in Ireland is a sign of him being an idiot, but more so a sign that he really doesn’t care about his fans as much as they think he does. It only takes a few seconds to look up the country you’re performing in before you hit the stage. I just don’t think he really cares. IJS.

  2. I think Chris has lost it. Not because of this but his pics on IG are really creepy now. He doesn’t seem all that happy.

  3. LOL. Chris is a trip. I really think he’s at a point of his life where he has snapped and he doesn’t really care anymore.

  4. I knew the weed in Europe was bangin’ but geez! He might have got a hold of that Oakland dope that Katt Williams got a hold of.

  5. Did people really expect Chris to be some kind of master of geography? He’s the typical arrogant celebrity that doesn’t feel like he has to know anything more than what he does for a living…and that’s music. Most of them aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed. He just needs a better set of handlers to prep him so things like this don’t happen. But I think his handlers jumped ship after that whole Twitter thing.

  6. I would say this was a gaffe but it obviously wasn’t. He should at least do a little research on every country/place he visits if he isn’t familiar with it. It’s pretty lazy not to.
