Singer Cassie may or may not be engaged to Diddy, or even carrying the couple’s first child in her uterus (rumors suggest she’s pregnant, nothing has been confirmed), but in the mean time, she is finding out fast how quickly Instagram can turn sour for a celebrity. Cassie has noticeably been sporting the shaven head hairstyle for a good minute, and it’s quickly become a big trend in the Hollywood circles as of late, and it’s apparent that the singer feels like she’s responsible for the hairstyle’s most recent popularity. Unfortunately for Cassie, she feels she’s not getting the credit and she made it clear on her Instagram account through what some perceived to be some mild shade.
Cassie uploaded a picture of a magazine article that highlighted the “it” look, as it featured the notable female celebrities who were known for rocking the hairstyle that Cassie’s been rocking for the past couple of years. The problem though is Rihanna happened to be one of the celebs that was featured for the popular hairdo. So when Cassie uploaded the picture and wrote a comment that many perceived to be mild shade, Rihanna’s fans instantly began to abuse the comment section. Cassie eventually clapped back and made her feelings on Rihanna clear, insisting that she has no beef with Rihanna for rocking the look she feels she pretty much brought back.

She tried to throw some low key shade and got handled. Now she wants to act like it was never shade. LOL. Celebs are hilarious. Last time I checked, Cassie was cooler with Kae, not Rihanna. I think this was shade.
Damn they read her…LOL! But yeah, she didn’t start anything. Salt & Pepa started it like damn near 30 years ago. And Kelis brought it back first. Just sayin.
I was sitting here thinking the same thing! You don’t see Salt n Pepa throwing shade as they were the first with the parts, color n everything. There is nothing new under the sun. I think it’s funny to call Cassie a singer. Is that what’s she been doing? She’s a step under Ashanti with that label.
Cassie and Rihanna’s stans have way too much time on their hands.

LOL some of those comments made me chuckle. They slayed Cassie. Good for her for trying to stand up for herself though. :-/
There’s really no need for Rihanna’s fans to go in on Cassie and talk about her non existent career when we all know that Rihanna won’t even have a career in 2 years at the rate she’s going…

All those celebs in the magazine were inspired by Rihanna, not Cassie. They don’t even know she exists! You mad Cassie? LOL!!!!
