Kim Kardashian may have created a multimillion dollar empire by establishing a career thanks to her “adult video” with Ray J., but that doesn’t mean it’s been as easy for her to be accepted by the Hollywood Elite. It’s been said for years that Kim and her family can’t seem to break into the A-List circles, and although she is dating Hip Hop royalty Kanye West, some suggest her romance with Kanye hasn’t done much to convince Hollywood’s brightest to be spotted with her. Apparently some celebs are insulted that she’s managed to get famous from a tape, and some stars have even snuffed the reality star because they view her “brand” as being toxic to their own images.
Unfortunately for Kim who is also a fashion lover, her inability to get into elite circles doesn’t end in Hollywood. Apparently, some of fashion’s greatest don’t want their brands associated with the reality star. It’s common practice for celebrities to get free clothes for their photo shoots and magazine spreads, but Kim seems to have the hardest time scoring clothes from designers.
Kim just shot a spread for fashion magazine Elle, and her stylist Nicola Formichetti says several designers flat-out declined when he inquired about Kim wearing their clothes for her Elle spread.
He tells Radar Online:
“People wouldn’t lend me the clothes. But that’s fashion snobbery.”
The stylist says eventually they were able to put together several looks despite being turned down by many designers. The reality star probably isn’t too worried though, as she and Kanye are too busy traveling and looking for several new pieces of real estate (according to reports) to focus on a fashion snub.
LOL why would he put her business out there like that?
Can’t say I blame them! Kim seems like a sweet girl but her reputation is horrible. Nobody wants that association.
Dayum! Oh well Kimmy. She can always buy her own clothes. She has the money for it.

When you’re famous for a sex tape, you can’t be surprised that people who actually worked for their success don’t want to be associated with you.
Karma! She sucked and f-cked her way to success, but she still won’t get respect from the rest of Hollywood. Serves her right.
LOL! Can anyone blame these designers?! If you work hard to establish an elite fashion brand, why would you LOAN Kim clothes? If she wants to wear the best, she needs to pay for it.

Kim may break her way into the circle of A-List black celebs, but those white folk ain’t having it…and they run the fashion industry. Well she has lots of money so this probably doesn’t hurt her too much. It’s still funny as hell though.
