The Rihanna Katy Perry beef still on? Last night marked the 55th Grammy Awards hosted by Hip-Hop legend LL Cool J. And as many people were anticipating seeing the performances and who would walk away winners, one of the biggest questions leading up to the Grammys was not what Rihanna would hit the Red Carpet wearing or how her hair would be styled. But the concern with RiRi was more centered on who her date would be for the show. As she showed up to the awards show with no one on her arm, that all changed once she entered the building as she sat next to Chris Brown. The camera crew made it a point to pan the audience throughout the night and captured how Rihanna and Chris were interacting with each other on numerous occasions, the two caught getting very cozy in photographs taken of them. And in one of them, Rihanna and Chris sent a crystal clear message to anyone that felt the need to hate on them being back together and over them sitting side by side at the Grammys. Other celebrities have shared their views on Rihanna and Chris Brown’s relationship, some of them resorting to ripping Rihanna a new one for going back to Chris after all that has transpired between them.
Rihanna’s family may approve of her relationship with Chris Brown. But it was said that her former best friend in the biz Katy Perry was not too thrilled about the thought of Chris and Rihanna getting back together and it was said that Chris was causing Rihanna and Katy’s friendship to crumble. Well supposedly, Rihanna and Katy are still not besties and paid each other no mind at the Grammy Awards show last night as Katy and Rihanna were said to have ignored each other and kept their distance. And a source informed Grazia that Katy is supposedly still be upset with Chris Brown for hitting Rihanna during their domestic dispute:
“Katy was always the one person who could really stand up to Rihanna. When it comes to Chris, Rihanna isn’t willing to listen. Katy is still incredibly angry about what Chris did, and she doesn’t believe he can change.”
The insider went on to say that Katy Perry felt insulted after hearing Rihanna reveal in her interview with Rolling Stone that she and Chris Brown were back together and that Rihanna and Katy haven’t talked to each other in quite awhile:
“She has stuck her neck out for Rihanna, and so it really hurt when Rihanna ignored her advice. Katy told Rihanna that she couldn’t stick around and watch someone she loves make such a big mistake, and that she had to walk away. They haven’t spoken for months,” the friend added.
“Chris is like Rihanna’s addiction and no one can talk any sense into her.”
It was also said that Katy Perry felt some type way about Rihanna sharing a kiss with Chris at last year’s MTV VMAs while he was still dating Karrueche Tran.
Unlike the 2012 Grammy Awards where Katy Perry and Rihanna sat right next to each other, both singers sat with their boyfriends, far apart.
I’m not caping for Rihanna AT ALL, but Katy’s choice in men isn’t all that good either. And John Mayer is a certified ladies man. Yeah, abuse is worse, but they both don’t make good choices in men.

She may not like them back together but you shouldn’t end your friendship over relationship choices. IJS.
This is a petty issue. Yeah, she’s back with Chris and it’s disturbing to her, but a real friend is there anyway.
It’s not really petty, but I do agree that she shouldn’t end the friendship. They seemed really close.
I kind of see where Katy was coming from, but you still shouldn’t end the friendship over men.
How is Katy the only person that was close to her that had a problem with them getting back together?!

Rihanna needs all the friends she can get right now. I don’t think Katy should have cut her off because she took Chris back. She’s just doing what a lot of women who have been abused do.
I don’t blame Katy at all!!!!! Sometimes it’s too hard to watch your friend make a mistake. You kind of have to walk away because it’s just too much to take. But if something did go down, I’m pretty sure Katy would be there for her. I have been in her shoes (Katy), and sometimes we have to step away from friendships when things are too hard to deal with. But she’s not gone forever, just hurt by Rihanna’s choice. They’ll get back cool eventually.

I have had friends do things I didn’t agree with but I never left them because of our differing opinions. Katy needs to ask herself if there was ever a real friendship.
