Did Robin Thicke quit Real Husbands of Hollywood? As we recently reported, Kevin Hart’s hot show on BET Real Husbands of Hollywood got the green light for a second season, and we’re not shocked at all that the network decided to renew the series. The show is an absolute hit, and the ratings for the new series have been quite impressive. Kevin Hart’s show is part of the new lineup of original series on the network, and a long term strategy to bring more diverse and quality programming to the channel that has been labeled as nothing more than trashy television for black folks for the last decade. While Kevin Hart may be the star of the show, many would say surprisingly, Robin Thicke and Nick Cannon are behind most of the show’s most funniest moments. However, rumor has it Robin Thicke doesn’t plan to return for the second season.

In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Robin Thicke confirmed that he has quit Real Husbands of Hollywood. The R&B singer says he had to walk away due to scheduling conflicts:

“We tried to work it out. I really love the show and love being on the show and it just turned out the time they needed to shoot I was finishing the album. It was just too much going on to come back.”

Interestingly enough, rumors suggest Robin really quit the show because he wasn’t get along with Kevin Hart behind the scenes. Apparently, some are saying Kevin cracked one too many jokes on Robin and he just wasn’t feeling it anymore and opted to walk away from the series than interact with Kevin any longer. While we’re not sure if there’s any truth to the rumors that there is a beef, we have to admit were surely going to miss him. He was surprisingly very hilarious.

I know right. But for some strange reason, I really feel as if Kevin is now at the point in his career where he is feeling himself too much. He used to be humble and everybody liked him because he had a people’s person aroma to him. Now it seems as if he feels nobody can touch him and its his turf. People are also saying that if Katt Williams wouldn’t have messed up, that Kevin Hart would not even be at the level that he is at now. I used to be a die hard fan of Kevin’s, but now I’m starting to get weird vibes from him. Oh, and fan or no fan, I didn’t like the ish he pulled with his ex-wife. Just my 2 cents.

Damn. I hate this. I loved him on the show. Well I don’t know if Kevin is responsible or not, but he seemed like an a-shole when he was going in on Mike Epps. Maybe he suffers from the Napoleon Complex/Lil Man Syndrome.

Smh. Robin is being a diva. Learn how to take a joke and go back on the show. It is a good move for his career. It’s not like he’s selling any records. And Justin Timberlake just came back and stole his style and will sell about one million records first week alone. He’s making a big mistake.

*Side eye* at the whole “scheduling conflicts” excuse. That’s the oldest like in the book. I think he was having issues with Kevin. Sucks tho.

He will be missed but the show will just pick up more people to fill in. I actually like the show and its mockery on reality TV.
