Erica Dixon and Lil Scrappy had a positive ending to season one of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. Although Scrappy seemingly attempted to have his cake and eat it too when it came to Erica and Shay, he eventually made the choice to be with Erica exclusively and even proposed to her during the reunion. Shay of course wasn’t too happy about the proposal, but she did hint that she didn’t think Lil Scrappy would be able to go through with the relationship. In fact, Shay seems to think Lil Scrappy won’t be faithful to Erica when it’s all said and done. Although they appeared happy post the end of the first season, rumors are suggesting that things between Erica and Scrappy have gotten rocky.
In particular, some people in Atlanta are saying that the couple has called off the engagement. But Erica recently took to her Instagram account to hint that there was no truth to the rumors, however, they are getting more frequent.
The Straight from the A blog is even suggesting that Lil Scrappy moved out because Erica caught him still messing around with Shay, despite the engagement:
“Sources close to the couple confirmed that Scrappy had finally moved in with his intended and was living a life of pre-matrimonal bliss, however things went sour when Erica found out that Scrappy was still running after Shay.
I heard that Scrappy packed up and left after Erica stood her ground about his cheating ways. For the record, Dixon was dayum near broke prior to taking the LHHA gig and apparently now that she’s making her own dough, she’s finally realizing she doesn’t have to deal with Scrappy’s disrespect.
While the two may not be under the same roof any longer, it’s apparent that they both realize the importance of maintaining appearances for the sake of their paycheck.”
Erica must have gotten wind of the latest rumors about her relationship with Lil Scrappy because the reality star and now model slammed rumors on her Twitter account the other day.
She tweets:
By the looks of Erica’s Instagram account, it seems like she’s still with Lil Scrappy and she has been photographed with her engagement ring since the initial reports of the breakup. But we guess only time can tell when it comes to what their true relationship status is.
Love and Hip Hop Atlanta is reportedly returning in April.
Meh… I think they’re still together.
