Kenya Moore and Walter Jackson may be over, but their drama is still lingering on and off the camera. At the beginning of the season, Kenya and a very uninterested Walter appeared to be dating, but Walter would shake things up after he told a radio station in Atlanta that he and Kenya were just faking their romance for the cameras. Kenya clapped back and claimed Walter was lying and just looking for fame, however, even Kenya’s cast mates have expressed they feel Walter is telling the truth. Walter wanted to bring “proof” that the romance was staged to the reunion show, but Bravo decided against inviting him and he took to Twitter to blast the network for not giving him a change to “expose” Kenya. But Walter appears to still be a factor for some reason on the show, and Kenya wasn’t too happy to see Walter at Kandi’s shindig on the last episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta.

To no surprise, Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks think Kenya was being a little overdramatic about the whole situation and in their recent Bravo blogs they even claimed they actually knew Walter way before they knew Kenya. So since they were already friends with him, they feel they should be able to invite him to events without Kenya having an issue. They also say they aren’t buying Kenya’s whole gay talk about Walter and question if she’s making more out of things to create drama for the cameras.

Kandi writes:

“Well, let me go back to my friend Greg Wynn who owns CTC construction with one of my best friends, his wife Tan. Greg is also Walter’s friend. Some people asked why I would invite Walter. Honestly I didn’t know if Todd invited Walter, if he came with Greg and Tan, or whatever, but it really didn’t matter. Kenya and I are cool, and I don’t want to make her uncomfortable, but I’ve known Walter longer. Because of our connection through our mutual friends, Todd and I have hung out with Walter multiple times even after his breakup or whatever went on between him and Kenya. So I prefer to stay out of the middle of the Walter/Kenya drama. I’m not going to exclude him from an event just because of her, and I wouldn’t exclude her because of him.

“It wasn’t the first time he was at the same event she attended. She seemed just fine at Peter’s event, so I didn’t expect for her to flip out the way she did at my house warming. I do not agree with Kenya about Walter. I don’t think he’s a stalker, and I don’t think he’s gay. I think whatever they had ended badly, but they just need to let it go and move on.”

Phaedra wasn’t as nice as Kandi was about the situation and basically echoed Porsha Stewart’s views on Kenya and claimed she likes to play the victim a little too much:

“Some of us always have to play the victim in order to be the center of attention. In this week’s episode we see that in epic fashion with our resident twirler Kenya. As always, she assumes that every event is about her. This week is no different.

“Atlanta is a major metropolitan city; however, as in any town or city, there are small social circles. It isn’t unusual to see many of the same faces at every event you attend. While I’ve known Kenya for approximately six months, I’ve known her alleged ex-beau Walter Jackson for well over a decade. He has been a fixture in Atlanta’s social scene since I met him. Since he and my husband met, they have enjoyed a blossoming friendship. When he and my husband spoke as we were en route to Kandi’s party, there was no reason to call anyone to alert them that he was coming as he was their invited guest. Please know that Apollo and I would never invite anyone to someone else’s home as that is socially tacky and uncouth. It’s very egocentric to expect someone to adjust their guest list according to your preferences. Kandi’s estate is large enough that everyone at the party could’ve played hide and seek and never been found, so why did Kenya assume he came with a date to find her? It was obvious he didn’t want her when they were allegedly together, so why would he want her now?”

  1. I’m glad Kandi and Phaedra are saying this. Walter is a big time socialite in ATL. And he was way before Kenya decided to hop her a-s on RHOA. He will be at events. Get over it Kenya. And let’s talk about that married football player she showed up with to Kandi’s party. She’s already on fake relationship number 2. Pathetic.

  2. What is wrong with Kenya? She’s pretty, a little annoying but why does she have to fake relationships? How has she gone all these years without a man? Weird.

      1. LOL. Girl yes. Especially with all that damn twirling and Gone With the Wind Fabulous BS. She’s lame. I wish NeNe was still mean because she was the perfect villain. This girl here tries too damn hard.

  3. Kenya is just being over the top. I’m sure it’s for the cameras. It was no need for Kandi or Phaedra to explain themselves.
