Amber Rose isn’t a stranger to a little controversy, especially since she did manage to date Kanye West, one of the most controversial rappers in the rap game. Since breaking things off with Kanye, Amber is now engaged to be married to Wiz Khalifa, and the couple just had their fast baby together and welcomed Baby Bash to the world earlier this year. Wiz is notorious for being a pothead, but the rapper has decided to give up smoking in the house since Amber was with child. Regardless of how opinionated people are on the subject, the couple recently spoke on how they would raise a baby around Wiz’s habits and both agreed hiding Wiz’s habit just wasn’t an option for them. Wiz says in a recent interview with E! News:
“I think it’s all about how you’re raised with it. Before there was a much more negative outtake on it. You know, pot and what it can do, and the effects of it. Of course, I’m not going to be smoking right there over the baby, because smoke in general and being high is not good for a kid. None of that. But definitely he’s going to know what it is—and he’ll know the difference between being a child and not being able to use it and being an adult and knowing how to use it.”
And Amber weighed in and cosigned Wiz’s views:
“It’s just like alcohol, basically. That’s how I feel about it, you know. When you’re a kid, you know that you’re not supposed to drink alcohol, that it’s for adults and that’s it.
“Our son is just going to know that daddy likes to smoke.”
Considering Amber and Wiz’s views on the subject, we’re wondering how anyone is shocked by the recent photo she posted of Baby Bash showing off his “controversial” new pair of socks on Instagram:
Amber’s caption for the photo reads:
“Like father like son #HUFsocks”
While many of Amber’s supporters didn’t find a problem with the Mary Jane inspired socks, there were some who expressed their disappointment. The angry supporters write:
“Pretty sad. Nothing cute about this.”
“That’s sick!!!!!!! you are not a good mother!!!!!!”
“Wow smn I thought u was better then this! Deff not a good mom starting ur kids young with drugs shame on u set a better example!”
“THAT’S JUST WRONG to put your baby in pot socks. C’mon…”
Much ado about nothing. The same people angry also drink alcohol which is actually more harmful to the body. They need to pick up a book…

They act like the baby is smoking with Wiz. They are just some socks! If it was illegal, they wouldn’t have anything to say bc it’s not hurting people like alcohol and cigarettes do which are both legal. People need to do their research and question why something that actually is helping cure sick people is illegal when the things that make us sick and kill us are legal! IJS!

I see both sides…it’s weird to see a baby wearing those socks but Wiz already said he doesn’t smoke in the house anymore and they refuse to hide the fact that he does it from him when he gets old enough to understand it. I don’t think weed is the worst thing in the world…it’s just weird when parents make their kids wear clothing that supports a cause or message they are too young to endorse.

what gives people the right to call someone else a bad parent. Do you all know where your children are? Do you know who their friends are and their parents? Does your child get good grades? A lot of parents let the children raise themselves while they are out partying. Come on……my father smoked in front of us when I was young….his smoking Mary J didn’t make me do it. And he was the best dad in the world. Give me a break! She’s not being a fake…..she’s real…..not a hypocrite! She didn’t say he was smoking with him there. They put socks on him – LOL people are dying everyday by guns etc…. and you are all worried about if Amber and Wiz are bad parents. Who are we to judge? LMAO ROTF at all of you judges!
