Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 2 is right around the corner and fans of the show have been more than ready for awhile to see what the show has in store as the first season was an epic one. Though the spinoff from Love & Hip Hop, LHHATL was an instant hit with viewers as the antics on the show made it one of the top sources of entertainment on Monday nights. Things started off on a scandalous note with the introduction of the most twisted love triangle known to reality TV that involved Stevie J., his baby’s mother Mimi Faust and his artist turned side chick turned girlfriend Joseline Hernandez. Toss in some good ole beefs between K. Michelle and Karlie Redd, and the late one that sparked between K. and Rasheeda, and a Lil’ Scrappy Stevie J. fight that we only got to see parts of due to editing, it was safe to say that Love & Hip Hop Atlanta easily became a favorite amongst reality TV show watchers. It’s hard to imagine that things could get any wilder than they already were. But the talk is that the second season of the show just might top the first.

It has already been revealed that things got ugly between K. Michelle and Mimi Faust after K. slapped Mimi in the face with flowers and had some things to say about Mimi’s new boo Nikko. And as we reported earlier, there have been more additions to the cast including Atlanta DJ Traci Steele and Stevie J.’s new artist Chavante ‘Che’ Mack, who made an appearance towards the end of season one. VH1 released a statement on what to expect from Season 2 of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. And it looks like there is much in store.

DJ Traci Steele is bringing with her baby’s father BabyDrew who is a DJ himself and the drama too as the former couple has been said to have trouble getting along, the two co-parenting with raising their son Little Drew and pulling their funds together to open up a designer sneaker boutique.

Stevie J. and Joseline will still be hitting the studio together as Stevie is working to get back on track with his producing. And while The Stevie J., Mimi and Joseline love triangle may not be what it once was now that Mimi is taken, his unresolved issues with Mimi and on and off romance with Joseline place him in a situation that may hinder his career. Stevie’s friendship with Benzino takes a hit too. And supposedly Karlie Redd is the reason behind that.

K. Michelle and Rasheeda’s beef is not a focus of theirs this season it seems as K. is keeping herself busy in the studio as a newly signed artist and Rasheeda is still working hard at getting her career where she wants it to be with her hubby Kirk still holding down his spot as her manager.

The other couple on the show, Rapper Lil’ Scrappy and his fiance’ Erica Dixon have had to fight off reports of them splitting during the show’s off season but assured everyone that they were still going strong. Shay “Buckeey” Johnson will be back again for Season 2, her relationship with Scrappy ending on a sour note from last season. Momma Dee however causes some problems for Erica and Scrappy as she is said to stop at nothing to keep them from making it to the alter and trying her best to get Shay and Scrappy back together.

For those who were wondering how Season 2 was going to compare to the first one, it sounds like it won’t disappoint at all.

The Season 2 premiere of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is set to air on April 22nd at 8:00 pm ET/PT.

  1. So basically, Rasheeda and Kirk have the same boring story line? Ugh. Why did Mona bring them back? They are so wack.

    1. LOL agreed. I read that and I was was puzzled as to why they were even invited back too. The storyline is the exact same from last year. And she still doesn’t have that “stardom” they spoke of last season. LOL!

  2. Momma Dee needs to sit her old a-s down somewhere. Stop hating on Erica. She is way better than Shay’s rusty a-s.

  3. I think Momma Dee likes Shay because Erica intimidates her and Shay is well…you see where I’m going with this.

  4. Just reading that summary about Rasheeda and Kirk bored me. It’s like they don’t have anything new to bring to the show. K. Michelle will be beefing with pretty much everyone, and it sounds like Stevie J. and Joseline will be even more ridiculous. Can’t wait.

  5. Yes! I’m so ready for season two. LHHNY has been so disappointing this season. I know ATL won’t disappoint though. LOL.

  6. Momma Dee knows she needs to stop. She’s just mad that Erica is not going to let Scrappy keep being a momma’s boy.

  7. I just want to see the foolishness that’s going to go down between Stevie J., Joseline, Mimi and her new boo. LOL!!!!
