Porsha Stewart Says Kordell Doesn’t Deserve Her

Kordell and Porsha Stewart may be over and heading for divorce, but the reality star is just now opening up and giving interviews about her split with her estranged husband that she says “blindsided” her. A few days ago she confirmed to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that she found out Kordell filed for divorce on Twitter, and happened to be in the home with him when the news broke. Although there were rumors that the former couple may be reconciling, Porsha confirmed there’s no truth to the reports, and she and Kordell are done. In a recent interview with ABC News, she reveals she now feels Kordell doesn’t deserve her and she is completely ashamed that she’s getting a divorce when she fought so hard to make things work. She says:

“I feel heartbroken and at times I feel ashamed. Because I put myself out there to the world as a wife and I was proud to be married and for it to end the way it did, it’s almost like a failure in a way.” But I do know that God has more for me.”

 

Although Porsha admits it was hard to watch her husband get criticized by the other housewives on Real Housewives of Atlanta, she still feels the demise of her marriage isn’t their fault:

“They called him controlling and that was hard for me to deal with. will not blame this divorce on anyone but the person who filed, and that is my ex.”

 

Porsha says the whole situation has made it very clear to her that Kordell doesn’t deserve her:

“I know that, at the end of the day, he probably didn’t deserve me. I feel like I still have a chance to have it all but maybe just a little different this time.”
