Skylar Diggins signs with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports? After coming off her last season with Notre Dame, Skylar Diggins has made her way into the big league as the star point guard was just recently drafted by WNBA team the Tulsa Shock. While the basketball beauty is taking her career to greater heights, Jay-Z continues to do so with Roc Nation Sports as Skylar has become the third professional athlete to sign with the company. Jay-Z launched Roc Nation Sports almost a month ago and already the company that is partnered with CAA is managing to snag some major deals with professional athletes. The first one to sign a major deal was New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano, which sparked some negative chatter within the baseball industry as many felt Jay-Z didn’t have enough knowledge about the game of baseball to be taking on clients. Not only did RNS land a pro baseball player, Jay-Z himself is in the midst of trying to become a certified baseball agent yet had to give up his ownership of the Brooklyn Nets. It didn’t take long at all for RNS to move on to other sports arenas as New York Giants’ star Victor Cruz was the next to be added to the growing list of clients that Roc Nation Sports was getting. Now Skylar Diggins has signed with the company. And judging from her tweets, Skylar is very happy with the move she made (Read from bottom to top):

In addition to Skylar Diggins, Jay-Z is going after potential Number 1 NHL draft pick Seth Jones according to New York Post:

The son of Nets assistant coach and former Nuggets player Popeye Jones is already repped by CAA, Roc Nation’s partner. But sources said Jay-Z’s organization wants to strike a deal to be involved in the star’s marketing and branding, reports The Post’s Kirsten Fleming. Jones would then benefit from both sides of the CAA and Roc Nation partnership. “When Seth comes to the NHL draft [in Newark, NJ] in June, his family, agents at CAA and Roc Nation are going to have a powwow to see if he’ll sign with them.”
