Mona Scott Young might be the queen of reality television right now considering she keeps cranking out the hit reality shows on VH1, but somewhere down the line she might have hit a dead-end with her first baby, “Love and Hip Hop New York.” Not only did the last season end in disappointing ratings, but her newer show “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” might have stolen its thunder to the point of no return. Regardless, Mona is still in the works with the network to bring the show back for another season, and things may get better considering K. Michelle is all set to join the cast. However, it now appears the stars of the show aren’t too happy with their contracts and it’s being reported they didn’t even show up to film a trailer for the upcoming season because half of the cast isn’t happy with the pay or the way they were portrayed last season. TMZ writes:

Sources close to the show tell us, all cast members were supposed to be present Tuesday in NYC to film a trailer for the upcoming season, but only half of the cast showed up. The other half stayed home in protest because negotiations for their new contracts had gone sour.

We’re told the half that did show up then got upset … believing they too were entitled to revised contracts … and stormed off.

We’re told most of the cast members want more money — as much as double their last contract — but there are other problems too … some are pissed at how they were portrayed last season and they want more say in what footage gets aired.

We’re told emergency meetings have since been called with the angry cast members … and they’re hoping to get what they want by the end of the week.

The site goes on to say the cast is determined to keep holding out if they don’t get what they are seeking by the end of the week.

    1. Exactly. You can’t compete with LAHHATL. If I was Mona, I would tell all of them to kiss my a-s.

  1. Are they bringing back the same people? I sure hope not. They are boring and not interesting at all. I only want Yandy back.

  2. How the hell do they demand more money when that season drew such low ratings? Oh hell no. Mona needs to fire all of them except Yandy and Mandeecees. I’m tired of Erica, Olivia, Rich, Tahiry, Joe and the rest of those clowns. Fire them and put some decent people back on the show.
