The Chris Brown graffiti house controversy isn’t over just yet. Chris Brown has decided he enjoys being one of the most hated people in the world, and he claims it provides more excitement in his controversy filled life. So it’s probably not a stretch to say the R&B singer is enjoying fighting against his neighbors tooth and nail over the graffiti mural he painted on the front of his home. As we reported recently, Chris made headlines after his neighbors began to complain about the “monsters” he painted on the front of his house, and demanded he removed the image because it could possibly be terrorizing little kids. Of course not all of his neighbors had a problem with the painting, but in the end Chris was still fined and asked the remove the graffiti. However, Chris and his attorney have been fighting for several weeks against actually removing the images. And according to the reports, Chris is now going up against the City of LA and telling it his painting is protected by the First Amendment and he shouldn’t have to take it down. TMZ reports:
Brown just filed an appeal with the city — telling officials the bill they’re trying to stick him with for having an “unpermitted” mural on the front wall of his Hollywood Hills home is pure B.S..
According to the legal documents, obtained by TMZ, Brown claims the city is wrongly trying to nail him for having an illegal “sign” — when the graffiti is art that “[enhances] the architectural and aesthetic features of the residential property.”
Translation — my artwork makes my house look dope, son!
Then Chris drops the constitutional bomb — arguing, “The murals are a reflection of [my] aesthetic taste and a reflection of free speech and expression protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.”
The website goes on to say the case is now resting in the hands of the Department of Building and Safety ‘s board of appeals. If he loses the case, it could end up in the L.A. County Superior Court.
Chris Brown needs to just give up this mural bs with all the drama surrounding him this isn’t worth it come on Chris pick and choose your battles.

Man, is he really still fighting this? I guess.
This is one of the dumbest things he could be figthing for…but whatever. This is what Chris likes to do…waste time and throw temper tantrums.
Why am I not surprised? LOL.
It’s a dumb fight. Yeah it’s his house but most people aren’t trying to paint ratchet looking monsters on their homes. It doesn’t make it look better. Chris acts like new money in a neighborhood of folks used to having it.
If it’s HIS HOUSE, I don’t see why this is an issue.
I find it admirable that he is fighting for this but I think the mural his butt-ugly!

I would just go paint over that piece of mess myself if I were his neighbor.
Doesn’t the LAPD have better things to be fighting than Chris Brown has his mural, which is art by the way?
Although its ugly, unless those yt folks and the LAPD are paying his mortgage, they need to STFU. I can’t stand pink toes at times.
