Chris Brown’s friends might be fighting his battle with Rihanna for him on Instagram, but when it comes to the singer’s legal troubles, he’s clearly not so lucky. Chris is still on probation for assaulting Rihanna on the night of the 2009 Grammys, however, he’s been accused of not being honest about the number of community hours he’s served. Prosecution is trying to put Chris behind bars for the potential probation violation, but Chris and his attorney claim the hours have not been embellished. He appeared in court on Monday and the judge has asked both parties to try to find a solution they can all agree on by the given deadline. The New York Daily News reports:

Chris Brown was back in court Monday over his beating of former flame Rihanna, and a Los Angeles judge gave him five weeks to resolve a dispute with prosecutors over community service hours he says he served.

If the sides can’t settle by July 15, the judge said he would call for a mini-trial on the alleged probation violation. Brown roughed up R&B star Rihanna, his on-again, off-again lover, in 2009, leaving her face a bruised mess.

It’s also being reported by TMZ that Chris may also be charged still from his fight with Frank Ocean, although Frank did drop the charges. Apparently, the case is still under review and could have an impact on his upcoming probation hearing.

In related news, Chris took to his Twitter account recently to express his like of being hated by so many people. He tweets:

I like being the person everyone hates. Makes life exciting.

  1. I wish Chris would keep his azz off twitter and get his priorities together. Stop thinking you are invincible because your luck will eventually run out just ask Chad. WASTED TALENT!!!!!!!!

  2. I see no growth in Chris whatsoever. Since 2009, he’s still throwing tantrums, ranting on Twitter, fighting, and hanging around stupid people. He’s a lost cause.

  3. Chris has so many anger issues. It’s really sad to watch. He had so much promise when he was a kid. Oh well.
