Jay-Z comments on Rihanna and her behavior in interview? Jay-Z and Rihanna have a good relationship as Jay is the one who helped the pop star make a name for herself in the music industry. And though Rihanna has been able to sell out lipstick within hours, draw in large crowds for shows and land on the cover of magazines, Rih’s antics have a tendency to cloud the positive things she has done. Rihanna has been called out on several occasions for showing up late to concerts and being a little too free on her Instagram account. And like everyone else, Jay-Z is aware of what has gone on with Rihanna, but says all he can do is offer her some words of wisdom.

During his interview with Angie Martinez of Hot 97, Jay-Z spoke on Rihanna and the choices she has been making when it comes to her career and personal life. And Jay says he doesn’t have any control over what Rihanna does and that the only thing he can do at this point is give her advice:

“That’s not my place . . . I can’t control the outcome of her life. I can’t intervene, I can give advice when asked and that’s it. I can provide information and then life has to play out, life has to happen.”

Jay also talked about his relationship with President Obama and his daughter’s traveling experiences.

On his relationship with President Obama and how they communicate with each other:

“I’ve spoken to him on the phone and had texts from Obama. Of course, he’s a regular guy as well. He’s very heavy into sports so a lot of his analogies end up in sports.

“I don’t know if this is breaching national security but when he was getting elected the second time, he was like, ‘Hey, you know, off-courter, just give me the ball.’ I said, ‘Word.'”

On his daughter Blue Ivy Carter and how she handles traveling:

“She’s well-traveled, her passport is insane. She travels well too, she doesn’t get like fidgety, she’s very cool. It’s what she knows.”

  1. I figured Jay wasn’t they type to get all in his artist’s business. I think it’s best he doesn’t. Rihanna is grown.

  2. Jay just trying to be political correct he need to tell Rihanna put the alcohol down stop partying enroll in some vocal lessons and choreography classes. Because crotch grab, crotch grab, poe up,poe up and singing staaaaaay OFF Key ain’t cutting it get your life together boo.

      1. Hate? What reason do I need to hate on an overrated pop star who can’t even sing, dance, or show up to her own concerts on time?

  3. I agree with Jay when it comes to Rih. She’s is an adult and has the right to make her own decisions. But with those choices comes consequences. Her future is in her own hands.

  4. Jay knows Rihanna is going to do what she wants to do. And it’s no need and trying to fight with her about it.
