Comedian Kevin Hart has put in enough work to put him in the forefront of the comedy scene, and he hasn’t had a smooth ride with his increasing popularity. As with any celebrity, Kevin’s personal life has become a target for the media, his critics, and the blogs. Kevin and his former wife and fellow comedian Torrei Hart divorced in 2010, and he’s been open about the fall of their marriage, even taking responsibility for why things didn’t work out. The comedian also confirmed in his stand up routines that he wasn’t faithful and he believes that caused the union to go south.

Now that things are over, Kevin revealed he’s been with his current girlfriend Eniko for four years, leading many to believe he was creeping around with her while he was married. In fact, he recently got slammed on his Instagram account when some of his own fans felt the math just wasn’t adding up when he celebrated his four-year anniversary with his new boo on a luxurious vacation.

Madam Noire recently caught up with Kevin and asked him how he felt about people accusing him of cheating on his ex-wife with his current girlfriend. Kevin says:

“Black women assume they know your life, that’s the funniest thing about black women. Here’s where people mess up. They mess up caring about what people think. At the end of the day, your life is your life. You could be walking and fall in the grass and people would say he fell ‘cuz he was on that stuff. He was on them drugs. People make opinions. If you choose to feed into those opinions, your life will be miserable.”

“I got into an argument the other day — and it doesn’t matter your race, whether its black or white but it was a black girl — and the girl was like ‘you’re a piece of s**t. It’s funny you just got divorced and you’ve been with this girl for four years.’ My divorce took me two-and-a-half years! I’ve been separated for damn near six-and-a-half years! But everybody assumes they know. These things, you laugh at. It’s people’s opinions. You just take ‘em and laugh and say ‘oh, you know, you’re right, you know. You’re me.'”

    1. I think a lot of black men once they are successful, their ultimate star is being with white female , So the money can go right back to where it came from, in the white community and finances , maybe one day they will wake up and realize they are apart of breaking down their own race. but they are so brain washed they can see what there doing I feel sorry for them. I hope they some day learn , that with out the black women they would not exist

  1. I am so sick of hearing Kevin Hart. I swear he always talking sh-t about black women. I won’t support his black azz anymore and furthermore I could care less if he is sharing his bed w/ a woman who wouldn’t give him the time of day without his bank account let him be the fool.

  2. This is what we get for putting this corny a-s clown on a pedestal like he’s the second coming of Dave Chappelle. Now he’s feeling himself. Smh.

  3. Yeah, I’m done with Kevin. I’m not sure who his publicist is, but they need to kindly hand him a glass of STFU. You don’t talk down to your own fan base. I guess he doesn’t think he can be replaced. It happens to EVERY comedian. His time will be up soon and I won’t feel bad for him.

  4. Wow. Kevin has really become an a-shole. I thought he would be so much better than this. His hate for black women shows in every interview he’s been doing lately. I’m sick of him and won’t be supporting anything else he does.

  5. I’ve never thought he was funny and I still don’t. I only watch Real Husbands of Hollywood for everyone but him. Every time he opens his mouth about black women he sounds very ignorant.

  6. How does he still have fans considering all the things he keeps saying about black women? Time for people to wake up!

  7. I’m getting tired of people lumping black women in one category. Honestly, a lot of us don’t care about what Kevin does in his life. But when the topic comes up, we will tell it like it is and keep it moving. Looks like he can’t handle it because he keeps talking about it. Time for Kevin to man up.

    1. EXACTLY! I wouldn’t want him with or without money and I don’t care what he does with his free time

  8. Wow, Kevin I am a black women…and I could care less about you or your life. Live your life to the fullest…however, you don’t have to disrespect Black women in the process. I really like you as a comedian, but your ego and attitude towards black women really make me want to boycott you!

    1. Right and I think I am going to boycott him. I’m sick of him talking about us like we’re beneath him in his interviews.

    1. I’m definitely thinking about it. He needs to stop talking about black women because its turning people off.

    2. I’m down. Yall I’m so tired of being bashed by these black men with fame and money. His black wife had his back when he was broke and telling jokes for free. Damn shame.

  9. You don’t talk down to your fan base. Black women are the main reason he’s successful right now. Now he doesn’t want us to do him like we did Wesley Snipes!

  10. It may do Kevin well to realize that he encounters more Black women who express an opinion about him simply because they make up a large part of his core fan base. “Other” women simply aren’t checking for him. He’ll undoubtedly get the message soon enough, however, if he keeps running his mouth. His accountant and management team I’m sure will clue him in when, across the board, they see their figures drop as Black women’s support dwindles.

  11. Yeah, I tried to be understanding a little at first, but it’s offensive to constantly hear him discuss black women like this. When you were performing at that hole in the wall who do you think supported you? But whatever, live your life. By caring about what he says it will just make him think that he’s right about us. Next….

  12. I don’t know…I see both sides of the issue. I don’t agree with him lumping “black women” in one category because like others have stated; I could care less about whom Kevin Hart is dating and for how long. That is for his wife and or girlfriend at the time to do the math. I’m not the one to judge anyone. Heck, everyone makes mistakes in life; no one is perfect. He just happens to be in the limelight throughout his journey. As for people saying he’s “feeling” himself or getting big headed. I don’t necessarily think that’s true. He was asked a quesiton and he answered. Prior to that he was verbally attacked on HIS IG/Twitter account. To me it sounds like he’s simply defending himself. I’ve rarely seen him voluntarily just give random opinons about “black women” unless he’s telling a joke. People do have to realize he is a CHARACTER and we all fell in love with his comedy based on his jokes. When he makes jokes about other races no one utters a word…we laugh. When he makes comments about fat kids, retarded kids, soft kids…we laugh. People are starting to get a little too sensitive for me…it’s”Black Women” and “Homosexuals” have turned into Taboo topics…you can’t even make a simple joke about either. Lighten up people!!!

  13. Kevin Hart is corny and annoying never was a fan so Kevin u been wack to me before any of that other stuff happened – this bw dont like u and never did lol.

  14. how about everybody step down off their soap boxes and calm down, This is the problem, he makes a generalized comment about black women and now he’s corny and not funny, and etc. He didn’t say all black women and for the record some black women do fit the description he gave. And what about all the times you, your self have grouped a race, or gender into one category. Besides he was only responding because this issue was brought up by other people, how long he was divorced, was not and is not anybody else’s business. Everybody needs to inhale, exhale and keep moving.
