R&B singer Keri Hilson’s career didn’t take off like she wanted it to considering the buzz surrounding her first hit single “Turnin Me On” turned into controversy as many suspected she shaded Ciara and Beyonce in the remix. As a result of the suspected shade, Beyonce’s fans (The Beyhive) showed no mercy and they have been burying the singer in her mentions ever since. No matter what Keri tweets, Beyonce’s fans find a way to her mentions and they have been pretty ruthless. As a result, Keri eventually had somewhat of a breakdown on her Twitter account and she’s said on numerous occasions that she doesn’t have any beef with Beyonce.

Interestingly enough, Timbaland recently revealed that Keri recorded a song for his upcoming album and she recorded a track in which she apologizes to Beyonce and makes it clear once and for all that she doesn’t have beef with the superstar. The producer told Revolt TV:

“And I got this one song that I did with Keri on my album called “Sorry.” And Keri actually tells the story about the whole Beyonce thing and how she was sorry about it because she really wasn’t talking about Beyonce but other people…it says it in the song.“

Keri recently sat down and chatted it up with That Grape Juice and she told the site that she feels Timbaland’s comments were “misrepresented” and the song may not even make the producer’s album:

“That track really got misrepresented though. Whoever filmed that video cut him off and faded the video off to make it seem like it was the end of the sentence. Maybe his intention was to clear up what he previously said. I’m not sure if that record will even make the album.”

  1. I think Keri missed her chance. Maybe next time she won’t try to do like the rappers and start beefs. That doesn’t work out well when you’re only on your first album.

  2. I guess she’s too prideful. Welp, she better hope things work out with her boo because her career has been over.

  3. She better hope that sorry song make the album if she truly wants her career back and forgiveness from the King. #BOWDOWN

  4. Does Keri even have a career anymore? Her best hope at this point is to get Mr. Ibaka to drop off his seed in the oven.

  5. Keri is an average singer at best. She got cocky way too fast and felt like she could take shots at people. It backfired hard. Her time and opportunity has passed.

  6. She better tell Timbaland to put that song on the album so Beyhive will forgive her and allow her to have a career. LOL.
