R&B singer Keyshia Cole is known for not being afraid to speak her mind, and she’s one of the few celebs to actually make it a habit to speak her truth on her own Twitter account, even if it means putting a critic in their place. Although Keyshia’s loyal fans just love that about her, it’s made her the target of lots of backlash, especially after she went after Michelle Williams’ performance during Beyonce’s Super Bowl halftime show. As we reported recently, Keyshia slammed Michelle’s performance and quickly defended her actions after her mentions got nasty by claiming Michelle threw jabs at her first. According to Keyshia, Michelle made some not so nice comments about one of Keyshia’s performances in the past, so she thought it was only fair she returned the favor.
Michelle has stated in interviews since the incident that she has no idea what Keyshia’s talking about, but she hopes they can squash the beef and talk about it in person. Although Keyshia made it clear on Twitter she appreciated Michelle’s positive words, she still felt like the former Destiny’s Child singer wasn’t owning up to her actions which she feels led to the Twitter incident.
Interestingly enough, Keyshia took to her Twitter account on Sunday and directly apologized to Michelle, and admitted it wasn’t right for her to act out of anger. Michelle responded with her own apology, but Keyshia still asked her to own up to the comments she made about one of Keyshia’s past performances (read tweets from top to bottom):

It doesn’t matter who started it, it’s petty and needs to end. I’m glad Keyshia stepped up and apologized but why can’t she just leave it at that?

It’s so childish to me when grown ups pull the “well they started it” card. We are not little kids anymore. Apologize, squash it and move on because you are an adult.

Keyshia is so disappointing. And Michelle is never going to respond to that last tweet. She probably shook her head when she read it. LOL.
Keyshia needs to just stop it. No matter what Michelle said that may have started it, she will always look like the cause of drama because she sits on Twitter and acts immature all the time. It really turns people off too.
I’m so tired of Keyshia. Time to grow up. And get off Twitter please.
That was a pointless apology if she still wants Michelle to acknowledge something that probably didn’t happen.

There comes a time in life where you really have to let things go and move on to have peace. Keyshia you will never get over it until you let it competely go. Even if Michelle said something mean and doesn’t own up to it, you can’t let that consume you. I think it’s sad that she’s so pressed for Michelle to admit to tweeting something like it will really help Keyshia in her own life..
