Former NBA Star Stephon Marbury Officially Pays off His Ex-Mistress

Stephon Marbury ex chef Thurayyah Mitchell officially paid off by former NBA star? Ever since Stephon Marbury’s wife Tasha Marbury made her debut on season five of “Basketball Wives,” the talk surrounding the affair the former NBA baller had with the couple’s former chef has picked up steam again. Tasha’s cast mates questioned her about the incident during a dinner she held at her home and wanted to know if there was any truth to the rumors going around about her husband’s affair with their ex-chef. While Tasha Marbury didn’t attempt to cover up anything and confirmed that she and Stephon did pay off his ex-mistress, she made it clear the incident was not going to continuously be the topic of conversation on the show and had a real issue with cast mate Evelyn Lozada as Tasha felt Evelyn was profiting from her husband’s affair by writing about it in one of her books.

For those who don’t know, Stephon Marbury had an affair with his former chef Thurayyah Mitchell while he was married to his wife Tasha Marbury. And as a way to keep the affair under wraps, Stephon and his Tasha agreed to pay Thurayyah $900,000 to keep quiet about what happened. Tasha and Steph’s deal with Thurayyah supposedly fell through as Thurayyah claims she stopped receiving her arranged payments as promised.

Looking to get the rest of her money, Thurayyah Mitchell took Stephon to court earlier this year where a judge ordered Stephon to cough up the rest of the money he owed Thurayyah or lose his assets. After being dragged to court by his ex-mistress, Stephon Marbury is officially done paying off his former mistress. According to a report from TMZ, new legal court documents show that Stephon Marbury has paid his former mistress the $341,153 he owed her, fulfilling the initial agreement he arranged with the woman.
