Tamar Braxton took a break in her ongoing beef with fellow R&B singer/reality star K. Michelle and dropped her new music video for her single “Hot Sugar.” Although her fans were initially excited about the release of the new video, most took to social media to make it clear they were not happy with the final product. In fact, lots of folks took to Instagram and Twitter to slam the video and call it cheap looking. Others even accused Tamar of trying a little too hard to be like Beyonce and some even complained that the video looked like it wasn’t well thought out. While Tamar seemed proud of the video at first and promoted it like crazy, for the last couple of days on Twitter it’s clear her stance has changed and she feels like her video is not what it needs to be.

Of course the singer isn’t known for holding her tongue and she went after the folks she feel ruined the video. Turns out Rihanna’s new photographers who have been traveling with her around the world (they are even the ones who are responsible for that infamous photo shoot in Dubai that got her kicked out a mosque) are the ones who shot the video. But Tamar claims they left her high and dry in the middle of the project, leaving the video unpolished.

She posted an angry message on Gomillion and Leupold’s Instagram page:

The comments were eventually deleted, but not before the screenshots went viral of course.

  1. This muppet face heffa is so annoying and she is not on the level she thinks she is. Only thing she has going for her is Vince and this mess shows it.

  2. Wow. This was not the best way to handle this. I’m starting to see why Tamar never made it big in the business. I know she’s mad, but there’s a way to handle situations like these. This isn’t it.

  3. I smell BS. She loved the video until people told her it was a hot mess in droves. I think she got what she approved but she thought it was better than it actually was. Now she’s trying to save face.

  4. Girl bye. You approved that video and it was all good before your fans told you the truth. It’s not that deep though because the song was never going to be a hit anyway. Just move on to the next single and make a better video next time.

  5. Am I the only one who feels like this may be karma for her shading K. Michelle and talking about Kmart, etc? How ironic that her video looks very Kmart like.

  6. It’s like crying over spilled milk. It’s done already. She’s been talking about this for like a week now. There’s nothing she can do now. The video is out.

  7. This is what happens when a person tries to be someone they aren’t. Tamar needs her own identity. Every video and song she’s trying to be someone else. Let Beyonce be Beyonce. That video is trash.

  8. lol whatever Tay Tay. She knows good and well she thought that video was hot. I’ve seen enough episodes of their show to know that if she didn’t approve, it wouldn’t have been released. I hope my girl K is somewhere relishing in this moment. Karma is sweet!!!!

    1. Right. She needs to have a whole stadium of seats. She thought she was so much better than K but her video is straight trash and I doubt K would put out something that cheap.

  9. I am sorry once you release a video that’s is your stamp of approval. She so busy trying to compete with K. Michelle she is not making sure her “Live Singing” or “Videos” are on point. Karma is a B***H. I have never seen K. Michelle’s videos look “Kmartish”, even the ones when she didn’t have a record deal, as this Video was horrible and cheap looking. Tamar is SOOOOO over rated. Mark my words, she will be exposed for being the studio singer she is and only marring Vince for his money and to advance her career.
