Actress Kerry Washington is currently expecting a child with her husband Nnamdi Asomugha and nabbing magazine covers left and right and rightfully so. However, all of social media is talking about her latest magazine cover. And we’re wondering if the photographer was trying to sabotage the actress because it’s so bad that many have taken to social media to express their disgust. She covers the December/January issue of Lucky Magazine and she is so unrecognizable that people are outraged. Check out the cover:

It’s hard to determine if this was just a bad Photoshop job or not, but here are some of the tweets we found that pretty much sum up how most people feel about it:

She looks crusty.

That Kerry Washington Lucky mag cover should be criminal!

Who did the retouching of Kerry Washington for the new Lucky mag? My goodness.

The crapness of this Kerry Washington Lucky magazine cover is startling and baffling. It has upset my spirit.

What do you guys think? Are people overreacting or is the backlash well deserved?

  1. Sigh this is getting old finding any and every little thing to hate on the new it girl (Kerry is the new it girl in Hollywood) instead of celebrating Kerry’s accomplishments people are trying to tear her down. She is one of the few people I am actually proud of representing me as a black woman.

  2. First of all, Lucky Magazine ought to be ashamed. I think they did this for attention but it just makes them look incompetent. Not only is the Photoshop job bad, but the outfit they picked out for her is hideous. They definitely did this on purpose. I will never pick up this magazine again.
