Lil Scrappy and Bambi avoid Momma Dee? “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” star Lil Scrappy became a target of criticism after he let the cameras in on his troubled relationship with his baby mama Erica Dixon, and it was made clear instantly that one of the couple’s biggest issues was Scrappy’s mom Momma Dee. Momma Dee involved herself in the relationship a lot more than Erica liked, and in the end Erica and Momma Dee’s troubled relationship resulted in the breakup of Erica and Lil Scrappy. Since the split, both of the reality stars have moved on and are dating other people but Scrappy says he’s learned a lot from the situation.

In a recent interview with the Hip Hop Socialite, Scrappy opened up about his new romance with former “Basketball Wives LA” star Bambi, where he stands with Erica and his feelings on bringing women around Momma Dee now.

On his current relationship with Erica Dixon, he says:

“It’s ain’t no friends, you feel me. It’s a level of respect and love when it comes to our daughter, you know what I’m saying. All we want is to keep our daughter in a happy spot, in a happy place, and have a good life. Help her do good in school, and we both agree on that, so we do that. That’s it. We don’t talk or nothing like that; if anything, we’ll text, and if we do talk, it’ll be basically about Emani.

“We’ve been doing the crazy sh*t for 13 years, you know what I’m saying. It’s an end to all the madness right now. Like now, we gotta call it quits for all the angry sh*t ’cause we ain’t angry no more, we happy. I was able to put her on, and for her to be able to explore life and be in the world of fame and getting money on her own without working for somebody, she can work for herself. She can get money on her own, and do whatever she want to do. Nobody going to stop her because God blessed her with that. He blessed me with the vessel to bless her, so she good.”

He also clapped back at the criticism he’s getting for his new relationship with Bambi and shoots down rumors suggesting she’s only dating him to secure a spot on LHHATL:

“It’s surprising ’cause they don’t know my everyday. They don’t know that she was coming up there [rehab] more than anybody that you had seen on the show. Helping me, getting me the things that I need; like, if I needed deodarant, toothbrush, a comforter, some food, anything – she was there. Money, anything. She was there talking to me everyday on the phone; it was her doing all that. Wasn’t nobody else. So they don’t know that, know what I’m saying. I read a quote today, and it said, ‘real eyes recognize real lies,’ you know what I’m saying, and real things. I have real eyes and real ears. I see real, and I hear real, and I see the fake. I would never bash nobody, but I’ll never give them that credit they think they should have. I would give her [Bambi] that credit because she was there. My mom was there.”

He also confirmed that Bambi has not met Momma Dee yet and at this point he plans to keep women away from her because he figures it’s for the best at this point after things went so sour with Erica:

“My mama has a relationship with me. I don’t let her have relationships with my women no more.”

  1. Honestly, it’s about damn time he gets it. Every woman he dates doesn’t need to have a relationship with Momma Dee. Now if he gets married, there does need to be some kind of relationship. But knowing Momma Dee, she will try her best to make sure he never gets married. Smh.

  2. Scrappy is so gullible. He really can’t see why Bambi made all those visits while he was in rehab after she got kicked off BBW? Chile…

  3. This grown man has some serious issues. Now why did it take him this long to understand that his momma doesn’t need to be in his business?

  4. Well good for him but I just have a feeling he will still involve Momma Dee anyway the first sign of trouble in his relationship. His relationship is still new and they are still in that “Oh they are so perfect” phase.
