As we recently reported, Pebbles Reid made an appearance this morning on “The Wendy Williams Show.” And of course her appearance was all about her getting her chance to address all the accusations made by TLC for the last 20 years. Wendy asked her if there was any truth to the accusations suggesting Pebbles cheated the girl group out of millions, and she also asked Pebbles if Chilli really did sleep with LA Reid back in the day. Here are the highlights of the interview which was all about the hit movie “CrazySexyCool.”
On why she waited so long to address the allegations:
“It’s a lot to it. I can only tell certain things because there are confidentiality agreements and all kind of stuff happening. I was a mom, a lot happened.”
When asked if there’s any truth to the accusations:
“It was a complete lie. But once again, there’s confidentiality, there’s bankruptcy, all this stuff was actually settled in that case. People saw things but it was sealed.
“I’m talking about it now to a certain point but I can’t talk about certain things because of the confidentiality. That’s what it’s there for. “
Wendy wasn’t able to get much out of Pebbles about what really happened with the group because she kept talking about confidentiality agreements but the “minister” did answer a resounding “H*ll no” when Wendy asked her if she cheated the group out of millions.
Pebbles also says that the group did see their contracts because they had to negotiate them. She also denied only paying the girls $25 a week and cited the expensive pair of boots she had on as proof.
She also claims that TLC actually wanted the Rav 4s she gave them, and she even said they didn’t get nicer cars because they didn’t earn them yet, despite going platinum because they were still new artists at the time.
And when it comes to Chilli, Pebbles denied the longtime rumor that suggests she once walked in on LA Reid and Chilli sleeping together at his office. But she did say she believes they did have an affair. Her daughter Ashley Reid was in the audience and when Wendy called her out for being 30 and threatening Chilli on Twitter, Ashley said:
“So if I’m 30 I’m not supposed to be passionate?”
Pebbles also says that she did not kick Chilli out the group and T-Boz and Left Eye wanted her out because she was sleeping with Dallas Austin:
“Absolutely not. T-Boz and Left Eye did because of what they said was happening in the studio.”
When it comes to what she says was real in the film, she says the only thing they got right about her is that she wore Chanel bags.
Chilli and T-Boz wasted no time clapping back on Twitter. Both of them tweeted the following:

Wendy was soft on her. She went way harder on Posha the other day. Interview fail.
I was thinking the same thing Wendy picks and chooses who she wants to be tough on. But this was pointless because Pebbles still comes off as an conniving swindler. That daughter is trash because she came from trash. #shrugs
You can tell by this interview that she is still a con artist.
Chilli should sue her for the whole LA Reid thing. Where’s her proof? How do you call them out for lying but you’re on Wendy lying too?
Why did Wendy make these hood rats think they were important enough to be on her show?
Pebbles is such a liar. No wonder her daughter turned out as ratchet as she did. Her mom is terrible and has no morals. She lies with a straight face on. Disgusting.
Wendy did not do her job. Why didn’t she ask Pebbles about any of the rumors about her? Like that son she supposedly abandoned? Or why the first girl they kicked out the group backs up the whole contracts thing? Wendy sucks for this.

Oh don’t worry. Wendy will just talk about her like a dog tomorrow like she always does the guests she doesn’t have the balls to interview properly.
This interview was terrible. Wendy just sat there and believed everything. Isn’t it her job to challenge the person she’s interviewing and get the answers the viewers want? Tisk, tisk Wendy.
So she basically just got on there and said nothing? Oh. Ok.
She shouldn’t try to talk about Chilli sleeping around because word on the street is she was a big time industry tramp back in the day herself. She better chill before someone spills that damn tea.
She’s a professional liar. She should give lessons!
