Just a few days after it was rumored that TLC had been dropped from Epic Records due to their nasty ongoing feud with former manager (and former wife to LA Reid) Pebbles Reid, it looks as if the music executive is trying to set the record straight on the group’s current status at the record label. As we reported recently, T-Boz and Chilli inked another deal with LA Reid several months ago and they were slated to release a new album in 2014. However, the group’s fan site assumed the deal had been terminated since TLC is not on the label’s official artist roster via the official website.

Chill told fans on Twitter not to be quick to believe the rumors and now it appears LA Reid is finally shutting down all the gossip too. He took to Twitter the other day and shot down reports suggesting TLC had been dropped from Epic. He tweets:

la reid twitter

Well there you have it.

  1. Ugh whatever. I wish he would publicly shut down his ex wife too. She needs to sit her arse down somewhere and stop giving interviews.

  2. Good. We can’t have Pebbles thinking she still runs TLC’s career. Now maybe everyone can move on now from the topic.
