Kandi Burruss prenup with Todd Tucker confirmed? Kandi Burruss has found herself a target of criticism since she’s in the middle of her mom Joyce Jones’ awkward beef with her fiancé Todd Tucker. Joyce has been calling Todd an opportunist and even criticizing the engagement ring he got for her daughter, and Todd has had just about enough of the accusations. He even called Kandi out for not sticking up for him and putting an end to her mom’s antics.

Although Kandi still can’t seem to get her mom on board with the wedding, it appears she was able to get Todd on board with the prenup.

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star took to her Bravo blog the other day and confirmed that Todd has agreed to sign the prenup. Kandi also says that despite her mom’s behavior offending Todd, she does still believe her mom means well. She writes:

Well tonight’s episode was a little hard to watch. So many of you tweet about how you think I should deal with my mom. I love my mom, and I will always give her the utmost respect. I know she can be a little tough, but I believe she really does want the best for me even if I don’t like the way she goes about it. I’ve told her a million times that I’m not getting married without a pre-nup. Todd and I already agreed that we were doing one, but I don’t know why she feels like she has to be the one he negotiates it with. Todd did his best to not be disrespectful to my mom no matter what she said to him, which I’m thankful for, but he is more than a little tired of the drama though…

I’m glad he’s signing the prenup. Kandi has to protect herself.

Kandi’s mom won’t be happy until Kandi is lonely and unhappy like she is.

Her mom is making a fool out of herself. All of this is about her being afraid Todd will cut off her gravy train. She’s terrible.

Kandi mom need to keep her thoughts and feelings towards Todd with Kandi only. It’s nothing wrong with her feeling the way she does, but everyone doesn’t need to know, it’s not her life

I do understand Kandi though, I could never “put my mother in her place” but my ma doesn’t interfere in her children’s affairs sooooo.

I think it’s really wrong the way Kandi’s mom is doing Todd! She did that to the last guy so I really think she doesn’t think any guy is good enough for Kandi. But Todd has his own job/career and money. There’s no need to treat him this way!

Kandi’s mom over steps her boundaries. If she can’t even stand up to her mom Kandi doesn’t need to get married. She needs to watch Not Easily Broken.

Hate to say it, but this will not end well and even if these two do get married, it will be short lived because Kandi doesn’t have the guts to stand up and defend her relationship with Todd. Nobody said she had to be disrespectful to her mom because there’s always a way to be firm yet respectful to anyone and get your point across, but I’m sorry no real man is going to stick around and allow her mom to disrespect and demean him and Kandi just sits there and laughs and makes excuses. Respect is due to anyone and just because she’s the mom doesn’t mean she doesn’t have to respect this man especially in a home that they are sharing together. This woman walked in their home and didn’t even want to part her lips for heaven sake! Perhaps this is why Kandi can’t keep a man. Kandi is going to eventually find herself alone AGAIN and more than likely will end up doing the same thing to Riley out of regret if she doesn’t shape up because just like real women don’t want no mama’s boys, real men don’t want no mama’s girls. Kandi shouldn’t be getting married because she still has alot to learn about leaving and cleaving in my opinion.

Am I the only person who feels like Joyce was really putting on for the cameras. I thought the last two episodes, she turned up like she is shooting for her own spinoff show, but she looked really silly to me. She is counting Todd’s coins but she comes across more concerned about her dauggters money than he is. She also claimed her issue with AJ was his kids, so what’s the problem with Todd?

Joyce appeared to be under the influence of something the other night. I don’t want to believe she’s an opportunist but it gets hard not to. I think she’s still pissed that she isn’t living with them. What really drove me crazy was Kandi;s incessant laughing when she was talking about it to Todd. Any man with integrity would have never listened to that and not say what he did. He is right too in the regard that she just might lose a good man(whether it’s him or someone else) if she doesn’t set her mom straight on her life and decisions.

Kandi claims to be a”BOSS” well guess what the Boss of what ?? Because her mother does not respect her as an adult. If Kandi doesn’t take hold of this situation her and Joyce will end up alone and looking awfully dumb SMH…

Ain’t no mountain high enough, aint no river deep enough, aint no desert hot enough to keep me off yo a-s baby! This is my favorite new saying. Lol. Seemed like Mama Joyce had been drinking when she said this. On the real though Kandi needs to stand up to Mama Joyce because if she doesn’t her mom will continue to over step her boundaries. It is okay to voice your concerns about your child’s mate, but when you are doing it in a disrespectful way it needs to be addressed. I think that Mama Joyce is exhibiting co-dependcy symptoms. Not only is she coming for Todd this season, but it look likes next week is going to have it out with Kandi’s best friend Karmon Kandie’s mother did the same thing with Kandie’s late fiancé AJ. I can understand a parent wanting to protect their child, but it seems like Mama Joyce is more concerned about what will happens to Kandie’s money if she (God forbid) chokes on a chicken bone. Although I can understand because Kandi is wealthy and she has a child and should anything happen to her needs to be provided for, but Mama Joyce seems like she wants Kandi to find a guy with lots of money instead of someone who treats her well and loves her above all first and foremost. I just hope Kandi and Todd, and her mom can find common ground which is they both love Kandi and Riley and work things out. If he is an opportunist like Joyce says he is, then it will definitely come to the forefront.
