Comedian Kevin Hart has been nabbing plenty of movie roles since he blew up in comedy, but we’re sure he’s elated that his latest film with Ice Cube is doing so well at the box office.

“Ride Along” topped the box office in its opening weekend and even held on to the number one spot in its second week, but now it’s been confirmed that the comedy held on to the top spot in its third week…a very impressive feat for films with black lead actors.

Deadline reports:

Grosses this morning revised both upwards and downwards. Opener Labor Day dropped a spot and the 9-10 spots are clear this morning. As always, as more studio numbers arrive this AM, the chart below will be updated accordingly to reflect the best estimates we can give you. (UPDATE, 8:30 AM: Enough estimates are in to figure percentages decreases weekend to weekend now.) Universal has two things to celebrate this Super Bowl weekend: Ride Along still at No. 1 three weeks in a row, and Lone Survivor (Emmett/Furla) passes $100M.

Congrats to Kevin Hart and Ice Cube.

    1. I just turned the channel. I hate this because now people are trying to say he’s trash. And it’s pissing me off!
