La La Anthony is in press mode to promote her book “The Love Playbook” and the reality star and wife to Carmelo Anthony is not holding anything back when it comes to her opinions on love and maintaining healthy relationships.

In fact, La La seems to be sternly against the concept of open marriages. She feels an open marriage is ultimately destructive to a couple in the long run. During her recent appearance on “The Arsenio Hall Show” she says:

“I think that is the absolute worst idea of all time. I think you’re just opening the flood gates to a lot of problems. Why would you allow your man to cheat on you, and be ok with that? That just destroys the relationship. That’s my opinion, so I’m totally against that.”

La La also has some advice for women looking for love and the lavish life that comes with snagging a professional athlete:

“You don’t try to get a baller. Just be confident in yourself and you will attract great energy. And you’ll get the right kind of attention. Guys can tell when you’re desperate and thirsty, and sometimes guys use that for negative things.”

In related news, La La’s book is doing very well. She’s officially a New York Times Best Seller as “The Love Playbook” is the number one book on the list. Congrats to La La.

  1. I agree with her on open marriages being pretty pointless. But hey, some people feel it’s the only way to stay married. I just don’t agree.

    1. Believe it or not, some open marriages do work for some people. Not everyone likes the idea of being monogamous and for some it’s not a reality. As long as they are open with their partners and not lying about it, I don’t see the issue.

      1. Sorry dear, this is a very delusional comment in my opinion as a married woman. If two people are sleeping with other people, that’s not a real marriage. That’s not a commitment. They might as well be single. There’s more to marriage than a certificate.

      2. This is the same thing Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis thought to some degree at one point in time in their marriage but they eventually discovered that open marriage just does not work. This type of behavior is not the purpose God intended for marriage. It’s just man’s way of twisting it for self-gratification. SMH.

  2. I agree with everything she said. If you can’t come to terms with sleeping with one person for the rest if your life, then why even get married? People act like marriage is a requirement or something. If it’s not your cup of tea, stay single and keep your options open.

    1. Thank you! If changing up sex partners is your thing then don’t get married! Cheating on your spouse just opens up a can of worms that is never worth it in my opinion.

  3. How can she give out relationship advice when her husband cheated on her? Everyone thinks they can give out advice now and it’s annoying.

  4. I agree with everything Lala said. It’s no point of getting married if you want to sleep with other people. Just my personal opinion I wouldn’t want to date a athlete or anybody famous. I like having a normal life no notoriety no red carpet no constant rumors I don’t think I could handle it.
