With reality television stardom comes big checks from the networks if you can bring the drama but there’s a dark side to opening up your life for the cameras too like people working overtime to dig up your old dirt.
In the most controversial season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” yet, there’s more scandals taking place than just on-screen brawls. In fact, when the cameras aren’t rolling, some of the stars on the show are caught up in nasty legal battles and facing federal investigations for major criminal schemes.
But sometimes the present isn’t as scandalous as the past.
In fact, a recent blind item is subliminally suggesting that one of the show’s frontrunners has an alleged past as a big time groupie in the music industry. Blind Gossip writes:
She’s a conniving counselor, said to have dodged a Whitney Houston beatdown! Our tipster says the late legendary songstress snapped when she found out this BOP was secretly smashing Bobby Brown! We’re told it all went down back when our blind item subject was representing Bobby Brown, during his child support hearings.
We’re told she didn’t only play her BOP role for Bobby, she did the same for Mystical too! She calls herself a Southern Bell, but to others she’s known as “Southern Bell-hopper” — on bended knees, serving up the likes of Mannie Fresh and Bryan “Birdman” Williams at Patchwerk Studios.
Some say she’s the “head doctor” of Atlanta. But our source tells us that’s a lie. Don’t believe me… just ask Chuck Smith.

Kandi too. NeNe was a stripper who probably turned tricks to get her money. Porsha was a video vixen. The only one I haven’t heard anything about is Cynthia. But the past is the past. As long as they have smartened up now, it is what it is. But something tells me Phaedra had something to do with Apollo’s recent crimes.

This has to be Phaedra. She was Bobby Brown’s attorney. It’s crazy how all these things about her past are coming out now. The only thing I’m waiting for now is Angela Stanton’s resurgence.

Phaedra has so many skeletons in her closet. But I bet she won’t go to jail for any of the stuff Apollo just got charged for. Say what you want about Phaedra but she knows how to keep her nose clean when she does her dirt. She’s smart.

Well this isn’t a shocker to me because everyone on that show has a dirty past. Phaedra’s stuff is only coming out now because of that Apollo and Angela Stanton situation.

Phaedra all day. I remember seeing her on TV for the first time when she was representing Bobby. I thought she was so fabulous for being a young black woman representing a celebrity. As soon as they said she was joining RHOA, I knew it wouldn’t end well.
