It was reported yesterday by Jezebel that reality star Kim Kardashian’s fiancé Kanye West had finally broken Anna Wintour down and got his wife to be her chance to shoot for a Vogue cover.
In fact, the publication even claimed Kim was shooting the upcoming cover last night. This news of course rocked the fashion world, and some of Kim’s critics even took to social media to express their disappointment. However, sources close to Kim reached out to US Weekly and claim there’s absolutely no truth to the rumor:
Alas, an insider close to Kardashian, 33, tells Us Weekly the delicious report is “not true.” Rumors have swirled for well over a year of Kardashian landing — or being denied — a cover or feature spread in the fashion bible. That would require, of course, the official approval and blessing of Anna Wintour, Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director for its publisher, Conde Nast.
Adds a second insider: “Of course Kim would love to be on the cover of Vogue someday.”
I didn’t believe this one for a second. Anna knows Vogue subscribers would go off! LOL.
It’s never going to happen. If it did, Vogue would suffer even more than it is right now. Kanye can beg all he wants, but it’s time for him and Kim to stop placing so much value and time on fitting in with the cool kids and social status. They try too hard and it’s pathetic.

I can’t say I care. I’ve been done with Vogue ever since they traded in supermodel covers for the wack celeb ones.
I don’t see what the big deal is. Kim is one of the biggest celebs of today. She’s literally everywhere. On multiple magazines and a tabloid favorite. She’s engaged to one of the biggest rappers in the Hip Hop, she’s stylish and a smart business woman. She’s more than cover worthy. Smh.
What is her talent boo? I’ll have a seat as you try to create a real response that doesn’t include screwing Ray J and a scripted reality show that should have been cancelled years ago. *sits*
Why do Kim and Kanye act like a Vogue cover is the end all be all? All the money they have and this is what they are pressed about? Man they have some self esteem issues. Both of them.
This is just more damage control by Kris Jenner. They know automatically a rumor saying Kim got the cover while they are trying hard to get her one would ruin her chances.
This is why it pays to make it in life with talent. When you get on by a sex tape, no one will respect you and you will always be viewed as too trashy to rub elbows with the elite. Sorry Kim. LOL.
I stopped reading Vogue YEARS ago so I don’t care either way. It hasn’t been a real fashion magazine in a long time.

Kim is still trying to make fetch happen? I’m starting to think this is why she got with Kanye in the first place. She knew he knows Anna and she wanted the hook up. Too bad Anna still is unbothered.
I wish Kimye would sit down somewhere and stop trying so hard to be a power couple. It comes natural for a real power couple. These two try so hard to pull it off and it is just a huge mess and failure!
I knew this was a damn lie. Anna is having none of it.
