R&B singer Omarion and his girlfriend announced months ago that they were expecting their first child together, and now the couple has confirmed that their newborn son has arrived on their Instagram accounts.
Although Omarion posted a rather emotional caption on the newborn’s first Instagram flick, one of his hashtags apparently rubbed some people the wrong way.
Omarion refers to his girlfriend as “blasian” and him writing #mysonhasgoodhair caused some folks to slam him:
There’s a lot of black people that have his twisted view. It’s sad but it’s been that way for a long time. It’s why so many black women were afraid to get involved in the natural hair movement. Thankfully more and more women are doing it and erasing the brainwashing.

Newsflash, nobody’s hair is kinky when they are born. That comes later on. I hope he doesn’t have a heart attack if that child’s hair kinks up.
He only wrote on IG what a lot of stupid men like him think. They will only date certain women because they don’t want their child having too many black features. Especially not black hair. He’s going to be bitter if that child ends up having “nappy” hair. Smh.

Good hair is the hair that grows out of your scalp no matter the texture. Omarion needs to handle his self hate issues. I kind of figured he was one of those self hating losers when I saw a trend in the women he dates.
I’m ore disturbed that he was this stupid. You don’t develop a texture until several months after birth. Damn some people need to start reading and educating themselves.

The good hair mentality has been going on for years. It takes an intelligent person to understand that good hair can be kinky, nappy, and cotton textured. Omarion has never displayed himself to be intelligent, so this isn’t really shocking coming from him.
