Rapper T.I. is the artist who helped Iggy Azalea launch her rap career, but the up and coming female rapper has been getting lots of backlash from the Hip Hop community because many have labeled her as a culture vulture.
T.I. is fed up with the criticism of his new artist and he thinks it’s all hogwash.
He tells Complex News:
“That pisses me off. Simply because they don’t have any real substantial grounds. ‘I don’t like them.’ Why? ‘Just ‘cause.’ What you mean just ‘cause? Since when do you get the right to judge people? Who died and made you the emperor of Egypt? That kind of sh*t and then the things that they accuse her of, like the racist stuff. That’s not even her. That’s not even in her. Me knowing her, knowing where she comes from—for real, the whole racist thing, that’s American—we forget, she’s not American. So the whole Black, white, color divided thing, it isn’t a part of her DNA like it is here in America. It’s just ignorant to me. In this day and age, to be a race of people who are demanding equality and speaking out on injustices and wanting to be treating fairly, to stand up and do the exact same thing in opposite to someone unwarranted for no reason, it’s hypocritical. I’ma ride with her. So, ya’ll go ahead. Anybody got a problem with it just know, it gon’ be one ‘cause I’m coming.”
What the f-ck is he talking about? Does this idiot not understand there are racist people in Australia? I’m not saying Iggy is racist but his comments are dumb as hell.

I wish Tip would read a book or two before acting all knowledgeable and sh-t. The Aborigines have been discriminated against, and been the victims of racism in Australia for centiries. If TI doesn’t sit his new black a-s down. Iggy is doing just fine even though most of us can see she’s just another untalented culture vulture mocking what many of her black counterparts have done with more success. Chick only dropped one album that didn’t even sell well and already Forbes said she runs Hip Hop. Same thing with Macklemore. They don’t even have to be in the game long, but because they are white they succeed faster than most black artists do. That is the point TI’s dumb a-s doesn’t understand. Whites can never be oppressed, not even in Hip Hop.
