Hip Hop veteran Diddy made headlines the other day for allegedly getting into a scuffle with a UCLA football coach for being so hard on his son Justin Combs, but sources claim he may be able to put the whole incident behind him legally.

TMZ writes:

Sources directly connected with the team tell TMZ, the coaches are regretful the situation escalated to an arrest. They think Diddy is a jerk who they’d like to make persona non grata, but they don’t want to make this a courtroom spectacle, largely because it would be bad for the team.

Sources with direct knowledge of the confrontation between Diddy and Sal Alosi tell us, after the incident the coaches all decided to just let it go. They believe an intern called UCLA police and when the cops arrived, they asked to see the video and that was enough to hook Diddy up.

We’re told head coach Jim Mora does not want a criminal prosecution. The interns who were present and allegedly threatened could press the case, but if Mora is against it they would probably follow suit.

Law enforcement sources tell us … the case will go to the L.A. County D.A. for felony review next week. The D.A. could prosecute even without victims … there is a video, but that’s problematic.

In more legal woes news, rapper Rick Ross was arrested yet again. But this time the charges are a lot more serious.

TMZ writes:

Rapper Rick Ross is behind bars once again after being arrested for the second time this month … and the situation seems way worse than a simple pot bust.

The U.S. Marshals Service tells TMZ … Ross was arrested Wednesday morning in Fayette County, Georgia and charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery.

The incident in question happened about two weeks ago, according to the Marshals, and it involved a confrontation between Ross and a man doing work at one of his homes (which was previously owned by Evander Holyfield).

Law enforcement sources tell us the assault charge is for a pistol-whipping, and the kidnapping charge is because the man was allegedly not allowed to leave the house.

  1. Diddy will get off. Wait on it. And is Rick Ross trying to work on his street cred or something? Bruh no one forgot about you being a correctional officer back in the day.

  2. I hope Diddy learns from all of this. Yes, love your kids and have their backs, but sometimes you can hurt their future by getting too involved. If he feels like his son isn’t getting a chance at UCLA, well go to another school. The funny thing is they may have to do that now.

  3. Diddy really thinks he can do whatever he wants. He needs to be held responsible for what he did.

  4. I predict nothing will happen to Diddy. He’s been in the game for a long time and has good lawyers.

  5. Now one of the coaches i saying they only accepted Justin because his dad is Diddy. This is getting so messy!!
