For months now, Birdman has been in the headlines for his feud with Lil Wayne, and most recently his name was linked to a recent shooting of Weezy’s tour bus.

Regardless, he claims he had nothing to do with the incident and he wishes things were still peaceful between them.

Birdman tells Angie Martinez of Power 105.1:

“Wayne forever my son. That ain’t gon’ change. I think what’s going on is just some business, and my perspective is, I’ma do whatever he wanna do. But he still gon’ be my son. Ain’t nothing gonna change the fact that he my son. … At the end of the day, no matter what he wanna do, I’m with it. That’s my son. I love him to death. He got my blessings and I’ma support him no matter what he choose to do.

“Our business got so big and everybody got in our business, and it ain’t me or him. … It’s all these other motherfu**ers who are in the business.”

Birdman also claims that he would support Lil Wayne if he chose to leave Cash Money, but Lil Wayne hasn’t expressed to him that he wants to go.

As far as the whole drink throwing incident, Birdman denies tossing a drink Wayne’s way during a recent performance:

“I would never personally throw nothing on my son. I would never throw nothing on no man. Who’s to say it was thrown at Wayne? It could have just hit Wayne.”

On Weezy’s tour bus being shot up:

“I couldn’t even tell you what happened that night ’cause I wasn’t there. Hip-hop gets gangsta sometimes and you gotta be prepared for it when it comes to you.”

Birdman also claims Drake and Nicki Minaj aren’t going anywhere despite what happens with Weezy.

  1. “Who’s to say it was thrown at Wayne? It could have just hit Wayne.” Lmao please take several seats playboa

  2. This is nothing but damage control. He knows he looks really dirty right now and he wants to fix it. But the truth is the truth. I hope Lil Wayne leaves and cuts him off for good for trying to take his life.

  3. His mannerisms in that video of him throwing that drink don’t lie. There’s no peace between them right now.
