The other day Chris Brown had a few words for his baby mama Nia’s mom amid news outlets confirming he will indeed take Royalty’s mom to court so a judge can make sense out of their child support drama, and he’s claiming the issue is Nia is asking for $15,000 a month.

However, Nia’s camp tells TMZ that the real reason Chris filed the paperwork is because he’s mad his mother got to spend a day with Royalty on his watch, without his say so.

TMZ writes:

Sources close to Nia tell TMZ … Royalty’s parents finally came to an agreement on child support … settling on $10k per month from CB, starting July 1. As we reported, Chris’ camp said Nia initially wanted $15k, but he only wanted to pay $2,500.

We’re told the new deal blew up though, when Daddy wanted Royalty this week — but she was already hanging with grandma in Virginia. Since relations between Chris and his mom have been bad for years now … our sources say Chris got pissed.

We’re told Nia’s claiming this is the first time she’s ever denied Chris visitation, but looks like once was enough.

  1. She’s a liar. Chris and his mom are good. The problem was this calculating b-tch thought she was going to bully Chris into upgrading her lifestyle, when only Royalty is his responsibility. She’s going to let her boyfriend talk her into a situation he can’t afford to get her out of.

    1. You must be Team Breezy. Yeah that part did seem odd. His mom spends a lot of time with Royalty so what she’s saying doesn’t make sense.

          1. His fans care more about his personal life than his music. Will they start buying his actual albums now that he has a child to support. Only time will tell.

        1. Was all that even necessary? Now I don’t bother you and I know you’re a Rihanna fan, but let’s not even go there ok? Rihanna isn’t really an album seller either. Singles, yes. Albums, no. So let’s not do this today.

          1. Now see I told you to let me be and you didn’t. So now I’m going to school you on your own fave’s accolades. Yall are going to learn to stop trusting Wikipedia’s INFLATED stats and label press releases.

Rihanna has NOT sold 40 million albums. While y’all were so busy throwing those 100 million digital singles press release by the RIAA in everyone’s faces, y’all forgot to read the small print:

In addition to her 100 million cumulative song honors, Rihanna’s career album awards total 7.5 million sold in the United States, including a 2x multi-Platinum for “Good Girl Gone Bad” (2007), five Platinum albums for “A Girl Like Me” (2006), “Rated R” (2009), “Loud” (2010), “Talk That Talk” (2011) and “Unapologetic” (2012) plus Gold for “Music Of The Sun” (2005).

I know the Navy saw that part, but yall keep pretending the tea ain’t out there. Rihanna has only sold 7.5 million albums in the US. You can add another 1 million in ww sales. That is why she isn’t on the RIAA best selling artists albums list! And to think, Ciara sold 5 million. As much trash as y’all talk about other artists, Rihanna isn’t killing any of them outside of selling singles. But she’s an icon? Please. Humble yourself and stop trying to come for Chris.

  2. Judging by her mom’s comment, I do believe she asked for $15,000. I don’t expect her to be honest about it though. Who wants to admit to gold digging? And $10,000 a month is still excessive.

  3. I’m not going to believe much from a woman who had no idea who her daughter’s father was for almost an entire year because she dropping it low for about 3 different men at the same time.

  4. First of all I don’t believe this lying heifer it doesn’t even make sense if the baby was with Chris mom he could’ve easily got his child from his own mother even if they have a strained relationship. She so stupid she had Chris to agree to 10k which is more than enough and now she might not even get half of that in court.

  5. Umm Chris just went all out for Mother’s Day and I hate typing this because I don’t want anyone to think I’m a stan. Lololol. They damn sure ain’t beefing.

  6. I don’t know why she just can’t take a few thousand a month and get a job. If he gets joint custody, she will get a lot less than he originally offered.

  7. This sounds like something Chris would get mad about. He has lied in the past so I wouldn’t be surprised if he is lying now. I feel bad that the baby is in the middle of this hot a$$ mess. Chris and Nia both need to get it together for Royalty’s sake. Still can’t believe she named that poor child Royalty SMH but she is beautiful.

  8. C-m breath just needs to give it up. Now that Chris’ little nutty stans have bodied her on Instagram, she wants to switch up her story. She should just take pride in her gold digging genes, it ain’t like her mom tried to hide the sh-t.

  9. Why would she hand the baby over to his grandmother without talking to Chris first to make sure it’s ok? If that’s the kind of decisions she makes, then Chris had no choice but to take her to court. I’ve never heard of co-parents making those kind of decisions without contacting each other. It was odd and probably spiteful.

  10. If the man was supposed to get the child and then he finds out the child is in another state, yeah he has a right to be angry. His time with his daughter is being taken away from him. Either way you slice it, Nia is in the wrong.

  11. Had the situation been reversed, she’d be acting a fool and taking him to court too. This is the same woman who cried on IG because Chris couldn’t make it to Chuck E. Cheese because he had to work. Cut it out Nia.
