We told you a couple of months ago that “Living Single” favorite Kim Fields was rumored to be one of the newest housewives for season eight, but now sources claim Kim was already given the boot for not being messy enough.

Straight From the A writes:

Ok, before I get into all the drama of this past weekend, let me start by saying that Kim Fields has officially been eliminated from the RHOA casting pool.

My sources have confirmed that Fields taped with several of the cast over the past month, but she was referred to as being ‘too dry’ in every scene. Apparently Fields chose the reserved approach and ‘Housewives’ clearly isn’t the place for that.

SFTA seems to think with Kim’s early departure, Porsha Williams and Sheree Whitfield will eventually get the full-time status soon. And with Marlo Hampton on board as a friend of the show again, Claudia Jordan has pretty much been replaced seeing as Kenya will now have Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss and Marlo in her corner.

It’s also being rumored that Carlos King has returned as well:

For the record, Nene’s departure also sparked the return of Carlos King, who is back as executive producer for season 8. So you know what that means? Drama… Drama… and more Drama!

  1. Kim didn’t let them manipulate her into showing her a-s and being a mess on TV…. Good for her- don’t ruin your REAL CAREER reputation over a few coins with trashy chicks who can’t cash in on any REAL TALENT.

  2. I figured Kim was out. She wasn’t seen filming with any of the girls. Oh well. That’s good news for her. She doesn’t need to be on RHOA. I enjoy it but I can’t help but feel like all these women are making themselves look terrible for a little change.

  3. LOL!!!! They were so desperate that reached back in the trash can to bring Carlos back. Sinking ship indeed.

    1. Had they brought in Marlo & Sheree while NeNe was still on, then that would’ve been the ultimate gag. Better yet, had they actually fired Nene to begin with, they all could’ve taken great delight in having the last laugh since she supposedly/single handedly ruined the show (according to certain castmates & some viewers). However, considering the fact that producers had to stoop to the level of recasting Sheree & Marlo in hopes of revitalizing what remains of the Atlanta franchise, it suffices to say that NeNe might be the one who’s chuckling at them instead.

  4. Kim was never a right fit for RHOA she has a laid back personality plus she has a legitimate career Kim not about to be arguing and being petty. RHOA needs a spark new faces new blood they think actresses who maybe haven’t worked as much lately are desperate and will get on RHOA starting mess that’s exactly what Hollywood Divas is. Those people at Bravo are so stupid try finding somebody who is looking to build a career like maybe a well known wealthy older Atlanta man with a younger wife or hell a wealthy older Atlanta woman with a younger man. Smh and now they bringing back Carlos they have no clue what the hell they are doing.

    1. They are trying to take it back to season 5 and 6 which was when Carlos’ little formula worked best. I think this could actually work with Marlo and Sheree back.

      1. But don’t you think they need to get back to the basics. I think the problem is they don’t want to do the work and build up somebody new like they did in the beginning. Maybe like an up in coming business that is not really known. They want people who are already known or were known and that’s lazy.

  5. Hmm I don’t know how to feel about this. I can’t stand Carlos and bringing back Sheree doesn’t exactly make Nene being gone unnoticeable.

  6. Bravo is really confused. Carlos has cheapened the show and he won’t be happy until RHOA is just another Love & Hip Hop and Basketball Wives.

  7. wow, true the heifer is gone. bravo wanted Claudia to boot it out. yes I loved it when Claudia gave it to Nene HOT and COLD she deserved it. NeNe was a huge bully striving on others’ weakness.
