NeNe Leakes won’t be on season eight of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and the reality star has made it clear numerous times that she’s not happy with the current direction of Bravo’s most watched show.
Now that she won’t have to look forward to feuding with Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss, and Cynthia Bailey in the upcoming season, NeNe admits she’s in a really good place.
She tells CBS News:
“When you work in a lot of negativity, it becomes a part of who you are and I feel like I’m getting to me, myself and I. It’s happy and free. It’s been a refreshing time away from the girls. I’ve done [the show] every season for eight years so I really needed to have a break. I’m not saying I would never go back, but it was good to step away.”

She became everyone’s target. Carlos was too obvious with his dislike of her.
Well she came at Carlos first remember. She treated him like trash when he was just an intern so can you blame him?
LOL. Actually yes, I can blame him. It’s not uncommon for talent and stars to be prima donnas. But a producer has to keep it professional so that they don’t lose the talent and the show won’t suffer. Carlos plays favorites and that’s why RHOA won’t do well this season. He doesn’t know how to stay in a producer role and not pick sides.
I think she should stop giving RHOA free press.
