R&B singer Chris Brown is trying to turn a new leaf now that Royalty is in his life, and although he’s trying his hardest to be more positive and make better decisions, there’s a lot of people who aren’t willing to move on from his past.

Even to this day, Chris finds himself missing out on bookings and opportunities because he assaulted Rihanna back in 2009.

Not only did he just have to cancel his tour stop in Australia over it, but he also lost out on his appearance on “The Daily Show” because the staff wanted nothing to do with him.

  1. They will never let him move on meanwhile Charlie Sheen is out here hitting women and sleeping with people and not telling them he has HIV and he’s still booking roles.

  2. If Chris was white, they would have forgave him for the sh-t like a week later after his PR tour. But Chris ain’t do himself no favors by cutting up and sh-t all those years after the fact either.

  3. It has to be exhausting to hate someone you don’t even know for something they did 6 years ago. Rihanna has moved on so what’s their excuse? Let it go already. There’s a lot of famous people who have done terrible things but the only one I see get trashed for it constantly is Chris.

    1. He was already spiraling out of control when the Rihanna thing happened. Chris has some issues that stem for childhood he hasn’t dealt with.

  4. What Chris did to Rihanna was horrific and very wrong, but at what point do we understand as a society that punishing someone for something over and over again starts to make us just as bad as the offense we’re not willing to forgive them for? None of us are God. We don’t have a right to punish anyone over and over again.

    1. I wonder the same thing. I honestly believe he could have been the biggest pop star had it not happened. It’s like he will be punished for the rest of his life for that incident. Terrance Howard, Floyd Mayweather, Johnny Manziel, Dr. Dre (and the list goes on), have all assaulted women but they were forgiven or it was swept under the rug.

  5. Sometimes I wonder if Chris would have been able to stage a real comeback if he chilled out because he kept getting into trouble after the Rihanna situation so people just started seeing him as a knucklehead.

  6. Unfortunately he did this to himself. When you’re black, you don’t get a second chance. Our celebrities can’t give the media any rope to hang them with because if they do, it’s over. Look how they did our legends Mike and Whitney!
