Kanye West’s Former Bodyguard Tells All

Steve Stanulis claims he was fired by Kanye West for talking to Kim Kardashian, and he’s making some pretty interesting accusations about how the rapper interacted with him while he was his bodyguard.

Hip Hop DX writes:

New York, NY – The bodyguard Kanye West fired after allegedly “chatting up” Kim Kardashian before heading to this year’s Met Gala spoke with The Sun and claimed that the job was equivalent to taking care West’s daughter, North.

“I had to look after his toddler daughter once and it was so much easier than babysitting the father,” The West’s former bodyguard Steve Stanulis recalled after two weeks of working for the producer.

The 42-year-old ex-NYPD officer was immediately sacked after getting a little too close to Mrs. Kardashian-West and claims that the couple wasn’t “particularly affectionate” despite Yeezy’s possessiveness. There’s not one thing anyone could point out that would result in one of Ye’s epic meltdowns he recounts.

“He got annoyed because I ‘got in his shot’ once when the paparazzi were taking pictures,” Stanilus says. “He absolutely adores the attention. On another occasion when we were in the studio, he walked past a couple of his other bodyguards as they were chatting, then turned and demanded, ‘Can you two not talk when I walk by you?'”

The 38-year-old Yeezy Season designer also apparently demands that his staff wear black because patterns “distract” him and to never touch him, even as his bodyguard.

Additionally, Stanilus told The Sun that Kanye West prefers to not press his own elevator buttons and became upset at him for not knowing which floor he worked on, his first day on the job; a position that holds a high turnover rate with some being fired within the first hour.

“He flipped out, squealing that his time was precious and that he couldn’t believe I hadn’t called ahead to find out which floor he worked on,” Stanilus says. “I explained, ‘We have three options. You tell me the floor and I press the button, you press the button, or we stand here.’ Eventually, he told me and I pressed the button. Kanye never, ever apologizes.”

    1. Well we have to since we already know how Kanye is. What would be a shocker is if Kanye was actually nice and humble to people who can’t do anything for him.

  1. LOL. Kanye really needs to simmer down. The greats are so secure with themselves that they don’t have to do all of this. This is why people think he’s just a wannabe.

  2. I don’t understand why he felt the need to speak out because we already knew Kanye was missing some marbles

  3. Kanye is so full of himself. Meanwhile his music isn’t even good anymore. There’s nothing wrong with a little humility. It goes a long way.

  4. This is the same fool who said he’s a god. Of course he acts like this. He doesn’t know anything about being humble.
